Hey everyone, this weekend I thought I'd take it upon myself to interview some of the top8 so the community could get a better grasp of how the top tournament players are sizing up the game so far. These two interviews are after Top8. I'll post the other two interviews tomorrow that are before Top8.

There is some really juicy discussion going on here so I hope you all enjoy.:D

Pretty sure Grodd's infinite was debunked tho btw

Yea, Grodd's isn't a full fledge infinite like the one's gadget characters have in the corners of some levels like Outside of Arkham on the right side with Firestorm for example. If your execution is ridiculous with Grodd his could net a pretty crazy chunk of damage though.

The gadget character full health bar combos aren't really too impractical at all though, and no one seems to be exploiting them. It might be because it deals so strongly with level selection and players don't have the ability to pick their own stages in tournament so it isn't reliable to choose a character solely based on an infinite you get on some levels.

And yeah, Madzin is good people lol.
I'm glad everyone gets to hear his thoughts on the current meta.

Madzin is just a legend in all ways. I do not think there is a single player I like more as a spectator. He is Hype, plays great and has developed this "almost there" history that makes me absolutely CRAVE a win for him at a Major.

It's appreciated. Sonic is a great dude, but it's nice to hear from the pros who don't necessarily make Top 3 at every tourney too

Listening to the Whiteboi one about Canary, I think you'd see Compbros and Saltface representing her more if there weren't so many friggin' Aquaman players. That MU is godawful. In fact, I would go as far as to say it's her worst one
