Now I'm no tourney player, so obviously the guys doing this are 1000 times better than me, but I don't understand why so many tourney players choose set ups over damage even when the set up clearly isn't working. DJT got nothing out of those lantern set ups like 6 times during that set, 6 times that he could have cashed out damage and finished the set quicker. He won so it didn't hurt him but still.

For Green Lantern it's kind of a must. Not leaving all that much damage on the table so it's almost better to give the pseudo set up a try. If it hits it's much more worth it versus an extra 10% at best

That 10% starts ti stack up though if not's working doesn't it? You fail 6 times over the course of a set you're leaving 60% on the table.

Reminds me of football where some coaches that are a little enamored with going for it deep in the red zone instead of just taking the 3 points and getting out of there. Then at the end of the game when they;re down 4 instead of 3 and have to go for a touch down instead of a field goal with 70 yards to go and 1:20 left it bites them in the ass.

Yeah, it's potentially better, but a guaranteed 3 is often times better than a potential 7 that resulted in 0.

Yeah, true I agree. It worked for him about 50%(approximately) of the time overall throughout the 3 games tho and he was in a comfortable lead. If it was never working and he didn't build a 2-0 lead I imagine he would've stopped
