lmao I was wondering if anyone would remember me

anyone that was around in the IJ1 Supes forums for the first 2 years of the game knows how many threads / combos / mix-ups we all developed together. Fun times!

Though I'm only going to be using Supes to counterpick in IJ2, I think he's too bland to be very creative (especially with no midscreen 223 sigh). I need more mix in my life.

Tested F23 into heat zap in the corner, it connects on the following characters:

Grodd
Swamp Thing
Scarecrow
Cheetah

F23 - heat zap - 3 - breath = 356 dmg / 445dmg with trait. MB breath connect for the restand still.
 
Corner dive bomb combo -
Dive bomb, b23mb, d2, b3, ji3, ji2, b21

Edit: had two ji3 instead of a ji2 as the second jumping attack. Darn auto correct.

Forgot to mention that if you neglect the dive bomb and start with the b23mb, the combo makes for a very solid 7f punish. It's more damaging than f23, ji2, 11db2mb, b3, ji3, b21 and punishes more abilities (should stop brainiac mb dive kick for example where f23 won't)

@Raynex I feel like ending in scoop sucks. You're not plus enough after a dash to do stuff right? And after a corner f23 you can cancel into trait then to get full damage, you don't have to cancel the 3 to get the second 3. So f23 TRait 3, 3 mb breath, zap 3 ender works

Yeah, you're right. However, When I'm mid-screen I never end in Breath because it knocks them away. Typically I'll end in BF+3 (corner carry), or B2~3 / scoop / d3 (oki). Yeah you're not + enough after scoop to do frame traps, but you are spaced such that you can whiff punish literally any button with F2, so it's still strong.

Also yeah, I didn't think to do F23~trait. That was my first time spent in the lab, so it was 'optimized' for day 1 lol

Corner logic is now:

- Breath does more damage than scoop, post-combo.
- Breath leaves you closer, and with more frame advantage, which means better oki
- The only time I do my combo is if I'm going for a divebomb reset. Doing trait later in your combo preserves trait power-up time for the reset combo, which will then do loads more damage.

Your combo sounds optimal from 223 starter. Heat zap doesn't do as much as F3, 3, 3 xx DB2. Because of gravity scaling the F3 is really strong here, where normally (after F23 starter) it wouldn't work.

Hmm, been doing some bnb combos with him. They really nerfed him in Injustice 2. half of his moves don't work the same anymore. He is only a shell of what he use to be. Which is a bit of a pity.

In any case, I found a 551 damage 1 bar combo, starting from a f23.

I'm going to go through all his combo starters and see what I can get..

Just noticed something...

It's going to be hard to find out what is the most damaging bnb combos as it appears the same combo can do different damage on different characters. Even when competitive mode is set to on.

lol found a 1 bar 703 damage combo. Does roughly 70 - 75%
Good to see you back. Yeah, he's super nerfed from back when we used to play. I'm curious to see this combo though!

Using opponent superman is standard, I think he has average health.

I'm uploading a video now of what i've found to be his best 1 bar combos using every launcher at midscreen and at the wall. Should be ready in 30 mins.

I'm making a high damage video too. All the big damage and swag stuff I'm saving for that.

It is. Found this a couple days ago and haven't updated. In puerto rico haha
 
So I was testing his meterless mid screen combos and maybe I'm crazy but can someone confirm that

F23, j2, 11, b21 (landing it on black canary is incredibly hard vs someone like batman which is pretty easy)
F23, j2, f23, x Scoop (doesn't connect at all against black canary)

If it happens to be that I'm crazy or that my execution is off can someone let me know? Thanks

Yeah it won't connect on female chrs such as catwoman, harley, ...etc because of their small hit box.
