All hail emperor Liucifer Kang!
Its high, its his only wakeup neutral duck and full punish. Johnny has no other wakeup armour and nothing that advances anyway.

Johnnys wakeups are one of the worst in the game atm? So im not sure why you're bringing his shadow kick up like its OP lol.
I was bringing it up because its not that bad of a move if its fast and advances full screen and on top of safe. Imagine how dumb JC was prepatch with plethora of armor attacks on top of it. I was implying that, in order for MKX to be a better, healthier game, ALL armor attacks should be negative, including your Shadow Kick. Jump ins should lose priority and with that we would have a game that would be almost like a real fighting game thats centered around neutral.

Liu's infinite was thankfully removed not long after the patch, then the whole pseudo infinite happend, then that was removed, fine it was too strong I admit it. Some characters got nice new pokes who didnt need it, including JC s d3, why did you get a nice 7f d3? Because d4 was nerfed not to low profile and machinegun all the time. Fine, whatever, JC was finnaly recognised as a really strong character through out the game and even then you had problems with Kang. You just want Kang to get nerfed again, even if that happens, you"ll still gonna have problems with the character, thats the way I see it.

Unlike Liu Kang? So you cant bait the db2 and njp for a full punish, you cant low profile it? You just dont want to take the risk of Liu to get out of the corner if you misread it. Man you would hate to play Nash in SFV, that guy has NO wake options but to wake up jab which will results you getting crush countered, yet still the character was all around solid.

Like i said before, the meta prepatch was

dragon roar gets armour broken
dragon kick blows up armour break attempt.

now it is:

hope they get greedy and go for a dragon roar and njp which gets beat out by like 4 different things.

I had issues with kang like a number of JC players and i have to hold that, towards the end of the XL patch i figured it out and it was fine. I never bitched, i just argued that it wasnt in johnnys favour and i never moaned about dragon roar.

'A nice d3'. Buddy, its -9 on block. Its not good.

Secondly cages d3 prepatch was 9 frames and was legitimately useless, they changed it and gave him it with horrendous block advantage so it could be used but it still wasnt good.

Whereas liu kang, lo behold kept his low profiling 0 recovery plus on block d3 as well as getting a 7f d1 .

I'll just try your argument style and talk about irrelevant shit. In his current state jc has no mid armour, no decent mid checks without a full bar of stamina, no fast moves at all except his -9 d3 and hes a rushdown character.

and fiiiiinally, stop talking about prepatch irrelevant shit that has legitimately no standing in this topic.

I really think you should get used to this current patch Liu Kang- just accept him and move on.
People have been giving you ways to deal. However, I think you should take at least 1 year and work it out and let us know your strategy against Liu Kang after Injustice 2 comes out. :)
