Well learning how combos is easy, lasher is an entirely Match up based character, but he are some universal things, low slash is your friend, an 11frame half screen mid that can be special cancelled. There are some specifics about it you don't need to know right away but fit now, just know to use it a lot, close gaps in your strings with whip trip so that you can then start using the safer strings that do have gaps, introduce that element of doubt, it is very very good, keep at a range where you can hit them but they can't hit you, none of your whips have hurt boxes which makes him a VERY strong space control character. Bnbs involve starter ex whip flurry NJP 44 whip strike, starter b2 close kunai f21 whip flurry, in the corner f12 2+4 whip strike 112 whip strike, starter ex whip flurry 44 whip strike f3
With lasher he generally can handle any match up due to the nature of his playstyle but the character that gives him the most terrible IMO is kotal Kahn since he can punish you every time for using whip flurry which is generally what you cancel most things into. Against kotal nothing is guaranteed, that can work into our favor at times but it is still difficult to adjust to
