I'm a noob at NRS games...so I thought it was just me having this issue.

I fail so many times trying to punish what I know is unsafe...and just eat one of their pokes.
Yeah I think it started in MKX. I dont remember it being in IGAU. They'll be -15 or whatever, but only after the block stun window ends. So you get a 15 frame window to punish which is great, but not knowing exactly when it starts is infuriating.
 
My biggest complaint:

I suck right now because I'm out of practice and my timing is all sorts of off for the new engine. Kinda embarassing ATM.

...other than that....I feel like a man coming out of what felt like a lifetime prison sentence right now. The game is so much fun and its like NRS gave me the build of Arrow I always wanted!!!

The input system in this game is bad. I feel like I don't have full control over my character.

Alternate controls help but make certain inputs way to strict. Also Dash inputs are way too lenient. There's no reason I should be getting all these accidental dash inputs when moving my joystick from down to, back to forward and etc.

I really with they'd decrease the buffer window for dashes, it's too big.

No proximity block in these games is really really infuriating.

Also, as everyone else here has mentioned, fuck the inputs so hard. Injustice would be the only FG i'd ever touch if they adopted the GG gatling system. It would work so incredibly well in this game, and would make everything so fluid. Pipe dreams...

Im a bit sad to see that competitive mode do not allow the use of special moves associated to gear. A nice feature that will end untouched in tournament since it only works with stats mode ON. I wish NRS added an option to use them without stats in ranked/ and find a way to simplify the use of them in a tournament set-up.

Why was Supergirl nerfed from the beta? Especially when characters like Bladam and Deadshot exist, I don't understand.
I'm not one to complain about Zoning in fighting games but how STUPID is NRS? They do the same thing every single time they launch a new game.

How do we have Deadshot doing the EXACT same shit Full Auto Jacqui, Deadshot and Kabal got nerfed for in their respective games.

Why does he have 4 different fireballs that all knock down with no meter AND have very little recovery? I gotta spend a bar just to get a CHANCE to get my shit started. This in combination with how long the levels are in this game have me like :rolleyes: at character select sometimes

I'm cool with having to play bullet hell to get in, but Deadshot/Braniac are crazy.
How about false advertising..

I was promised a fighter but this is clearly a sidescroll shooter with 2-3 melee attacks
They told you it'd be a zoner heavy game
I want meterburn rolls to be buffed :(

If these input difficulties occurred in MXKL, I commend all of you for your patience. I would trade the entire gear, shader and customization system for a game that actually PLAYS WELL. And the fact that I'm struggling to control my character, more than play the matchup makes me saltier than hell right now

Some of you want gear to be used in tournaments,. Personally, I wish they would have gone that route, because if they did, I would have never touched this game with a 10 foot F$%#^n pole. There is no damn way that would have been balanced, and I realize that some players put "depth" and fun over balance, I just happen to not be one of those players. If you want a game where zoning means that the opponent doesn't have a chance in hell, have at it, this is for you. You get "brain dead", "worry not" zoning and a character with safe 50/50s, designed to push you away again.

Yes, Deadshot is broken. No, that's not debatable. You have access to the same frame data that I have, and presumably, you have two eyes as well. I fully expected there to be some broken DLC, but a broken character on launch is inexcusable. I bought the ultimate edition and the only positive thing I can think of, is that's the last bit of money I'm willing to spend in support of this nonsense, When I'm done with I2, I'm done with NRS, period and if it wasn't for this community I'd be gone already!

Really, really pissed off. So much potential and fun, ruined.

I thought NRS was using rollback? That first ggpo beta for mkx had no input lag. Now the game feels significantly different online. Did people prefer input lag over the rollback? Why not give us the option the decrease input lag if we prefer rollback similar to all the XBLA capcom releases with ggpo?
 
I have no idea what the range is on Swamp Thing's vine grab. I swear to god I can do the same move at the same distance and I'll just have to pray to RNGesus for it to connect or not. That and his special cancel timings are awkward as hell.
 
When you preorder the Ultimate Edition on January 20th., downloaded the game and all preorder onuses including Darksied and it's 8 days since launch and you still can't play as Darksied. Fix this Netherrelm !!!!

Superman's f23 is extremely annoying online. Still need to test in practice mode if I can actually d1 with adam after f23xxsuper breath. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Also, bladam has no consistent way besides back dash and then using push block to get out of f23xxsuperbreath online.
 
Ok, actually, here's a legit complaint:

I really don't like how NRS seems to have set up the competitive mode system with the gear, and think it needs to be patched ASAP. Having this be done on a match by match basis where both players have to agree to it is incredibly lame IMO.

This option should be picked *before* you're matched up. Not after.
