Am I the only one who has problems with that string? The hitbox on it is assssss from what I can tell. I swear it whiffs 95% of the time. Unless there is something I'm doing wrong.

212 is a hard knockdown. His trait setups cannot be techrolled after 212. I'm honestly surprised that I'm the only one complaining about it.
I had the same issue. I found that if you do the sequence xxxdb2 MB, b3, trait, 212xxx, 212 will connect of you input trait, 212 as fast as possible without delaying anything.

These are all super consistent, it only really becomes obnoxious when you add more hits and they fall through the gap between 2 and 1

Is this really a common issue? I thought I was just constantly dropping it because I'm bad. If it can hit once surely it can hit every time if we can do it the same way. I've landed the combo many times but I think I just need a bit more practice to get it consistently.
I drop it every once in a while, but it's just a timing thing tbh. I'm dropping it a lot more online than offline. To be honest, that setup is a bit overrated though. The hard knockdown is good, but delayed wake up messes up your string timing and strings like f2d3 can be punished. You're giving away damage for nothing.

unless you are going to a tournament soon then you have no reason to drop robbin because his 212 is hard to hit, its execution and you cant expect to have the execution perfect after one week. Stick to it lads because he is a sick character
 
Only string ive noticed behaves weird is b213 on black canary. The 3 whiffs if shes crouching unless you hit the 1 part of the string at max distance, which requires you whiff the b2. B213 ends in overhead so i dont think this is intentional.

Return of the NRS small hitbox characters?

I know that. I thought you were talking about using 212 as an ender, I've found it's much easier to just use different enders.

He does mean as an ender. It's not optimal to use something else in its place.
My bad, I misunderstood. Seems easier to me to just do b12 cancel into trait than take the chance of 212 dropping at the end of a combo. Don't see much difference in damage in 212 trait and b12 trait. I know 212 is a better ender and gets better damage but sometimes Imo it's better to do what's easier. But I could be misunderstanding again.
(I've had 212 drop way to many times on me, if they changed it frames and sped it up slightly I think it would fix the issue)

It's not about the damage, it's about the oki. If I do b12 trait as my ender, smart players will tech roll out. 212 removes that option.

It's still an ender though, a smart player would tech roll out at let's say mb sword dance, not after they've eaten a full combo. I get what you're saying, yes it needs to be fixed but until then let's not dwell because he has other options, if they start tech rolling b12 end with birdarang instead of trait.

Tech roll, not air escape. As in they can avoid the birdarang setup entirely off of everything except 212.

There's room to end on bf3 too though for a restand.
 
F2D3 is a godlike ender its what ive been using over 212 for batarang setups You have +5 more frames of hit advantage gives you enough time to throw out smartarang then trait and block. Also with the 212 ender I've found that I was dialing in the whole 212 and not ending at 21 then canceling. It seems more consistent since I noticed myself doing it. Hope this helps.
