A Serious Question: Which Would You Rather Have?

The mighty @RiBBz22 made me realize something today.

I would a thousand times over, without a doubt, not even close, rather have a remastered/rebalanced MK9 re-release than Injustice 2. Not that I don't love IG2/the Injustice franchise for its whole own slew of reasons, but MK9 was THE game for me as far as if i'm doing battle with someone, all of me including parts of me i can't perceive existing are focused and atingle with hype.

It may never happen.
We may dream forever until we are dust.
BUT...if you could choose yourself, take one over the other, get what you want 150%...which would you choose? The newest and shiniest battle there is to be fought? Or a possibly perfected version of the game that gave our scene its tier on the list?

Me personally, I would way rather wake up tomorrow and find out that Cyrax, Bi-Han and Rainbow Kombat were back in style. Absolutely.

Injustice 2. I don't feel like fighting the gauntlet of Laos, Kabals, and Cyraxes again.

This is probably the worst possible time you could have created this thread. We are at the height of Injustice 2 hype, with people losing sleep over their excitement and getting into fights over early copies. Mk9 is going to be put to shame in this thread. I'd recommend deleting it and reposting in about 3-4 months once people have cooled off a bit.

Definitely rather have Injustice 2, but I'd 100% delete MKX from this reality for UMK9.

It's like everybody's discs just burst into flames in 2014. You can still play MK9.

re-balanced UMK9 with at least 6 new characters would be so gud. And in a perfect world it would include the fixes for input bug, P1 advantage, etc.

UMK9 with no hesitation. I'm sure Injustice 2 will be a fantastic game and I know I'll enjoy it but it's no MK

I'll take UMK9 over MKX, but I2 over both.

I honestly feel like at its base, Injustice is just so much more solid and fluid than MK is. It makes MK seem so clunky

You're right, but for the record, there are some of use that could not care less about Injustice, like AT ALL. Never played the first one, will never play the second, its irritating to me NRS is even wasting time on this. The only good thing (in my mind) is that at least it does space out the MK games so people aren't burnt out of them, ala CoD.

Injustice 2. Mainly because after playing IGAU, MK9 and MKX, it seems abundantly clear NRS made a mistake and actually released something worth playing in IGAU. Please, give me more of that franchise and let me forget there have been recent MK games.
