Fighting Game Course

Phew, well it took exactly 3 weeks, but all footage is now shot and edited. I'll be spending the rest of today and tomorrow reviewing and taking notes, then I'll do any necessary reshoots, then I need to put together the PDFs and other supplementary materials, and then I can officially launch the course (which has been approved by Udemy, so it's good to go as soon as I do all that). I'm hoping to launch it either Sunday or Monday, depending on how extensive the reshoots are.

That's exactly how I started. Surrounded by GamePros, EGMs, and notebooks with all the moves poorly written down. Ah the good ol days...

This is actually really amazing. If I wasn't at work, I'd probably be watching your course. I don't think I'd learn too much, but I love that you're doing it.

Thanks! And yeah, everything I have posted above is pretty basic stuff. I'm excited about the more advanced topics, though, because they were a lot of fun to try to explain and demonstrate. Stuff like how to deal with zoning, how to learn a new character, how to make money through fighting games, etc.

The list price of the course is $50, though I'm going to have a "testyourmight" coupon to take it down to $10 (the minimum for Udemy paid courses). I think that's reasonable for 5+ hours of video instructions, written materials/guides, and 1-on-1 q&a's.

Not sure if this is a solo project, but since I plan on coming back to action, I'd love to help out in anyway I can.

Thanks for the offer! And glad to have you back! It's pretty much finished at this point (just adding written outlines to supplement the videos). If you wanted to audit the course and provide feedback, I'd be down (though I'd have to figure out how to get you signed up for free).
