BRAINIAC!

Brainiac finds himself on the Injustice 2 roster as potentially the main villain in the story.

Brainiac is an extraterrestrial android who stands tall, green, bald, and completely badass.

Brainiac is one of the most prevalent (and dangerous) villains of Superman.

Brainiac has a "12th-level intellect", allowing calculation abilities, enhanced memory and advanced understanding of mechanical engineering, bio-engineering, physics, and other theoretical and applied sciences, as well as extensive knowledge of various alien technologies. For comparison, the population of 20th century Earth as a whole constitutes a 6th-Level intelligence and the population of 31st century Earth as a whole is a 9th-Level intelligence. The character has created devices such as a force field belt and a shrinking ray capable of reducing cities. Brainiac's advanced mental powers have shown him capable possessing others, absorbing information from other beings, transferring his consciousness, creating and manipulating computer systems, replicating multiple versions of himself, and exerting powers to traverse or control space and time. John Byrne's re-imagining of the character possessed telepathy and telekinesis that were further augmented by an implanted electrode head-piece.

The most recent version of Brainiac (a living Coluan who utilizes android "probes") is connected to his ship in such a way that he can be disabled for a short period if separated without warning. While inside his ship he is capable of fighting evenly with and overpowering the likes of Superman. He heals from injuries at incredible speed. After being separated from the ship he physically starts to deteriorate and is far less powerful. He is a biological creature that has altered his body to acquire more knowledge to become "better." With his ship, vast knowledge, and powerful technology, Brainiac has captured thousands of cities and has assimilated and destroyed just as many civilizations. He is considered one of the most powerful villains Superman has faced.

Trait : unblockable interactables with damage buff.
I can see it bringing nightmares for Injustice 1 players lol
All jokes aside. He's such a interesting character. I'm looking forward to using him.

And he has energy blasts so he should have decent projectiles. I think he'd play a great zoning game with long reaching normals as well.

I hope his trait will have something to do with giving him those Kryptonian powers..like a new moveset where you have b4, d4, f4 and give you laser eyes, super breath and whatever else. That'd be cool.

One of my favorites in DC has made it!!) he has got to be a zoner, space control character which fits me great and hopefully will work better in I2 then in that rushdown hell that is MKX.

Also worth adding that lately, in the Convergence event Brainiac was retconed into being a beyond multiversal being that has evolved from the Vryl Dox of the Colu who has survived the Flashpoint event somehow. He went through the Source Wall beyond time and space to be able to monitor all the unverses that ever existed (even disfunctional realities and timelines of Pre Crisis). But the events of the Crisis on infinite earths as well as Final crisis and Flashpoint have corrupted disfunctional timelines he was monitoring corrupting and mutating Brainiac himself into a God Machine that collected cities from all the worlds, universes, timelines that ever existed in DC lore (Pre Crisis, Post Crisis, Pre Flashpoint, new 52, even the stories that were never considered canon before). All of other versions of Brainiac across all the multiverse are now considered the extensions of this Godlike Collector, who possesses the knowledge of every being, event, civilization and their greatest achievements that ever existed. He also possessed vast time and reality bending abilities. At the end of Convergence he was cured of his mutations and went back to his classic Vryl Dox look. But if the writers will logically develop the character (which they rarely do lol) he still has the knowledge of all those events and realities since only the corrupting affects of the Crisis were reverted and all the realities Brainiac was trying to preserve were brought back into the main DC Rebirth continuity.

Drones are highs and they disappear when Brainiac is hit. They are also slow. Full screen zoning is definitely not the way to use them.

Another boss Brainiac fight at the end of the video, he is more versatile with his boss moves this time around, the ships from the background seem to do similar stuff for him that his trait normally does. I wonder whether all the other specials boss brainiac has (besides boss exclusive moves) are standard or he does gear moves as well. Because he does that tentacle madness here and it would be awesome to have that as his standard special.

Some of that is gear I think. Don't mind the level 2 because I saw level 2 Flash with the tornado move which is gear.

The flailing tentacle madness would be a great wake-up tool. It covers a large area and can be meter burned to launch the opponent. However, I think this is a gear move. His shoulder charge looks base and could be his wake-up move of choice much like Shinnok. I haven't seen the MB version so I'm not sure if it launches, but I'm hoping it does.
