What a childish response in regards to making your post easier to read for everyone.

It's an option because it's part of the site. It doesn't mean you have to use it just because it's there.
Well if it's an option then i'm going to use it :( Sorry if you can't read it, it's really not that hard, and there is a zoom in button if it is that difficult for you

Bo just needs some basic tools to try and play footsies Nd stop people jumping Away like idiots.

The whole damage reduction idea is redundant if hes still risking 40% combos from hangover to get access to specials that arent even that great.

Jasons resurrect full punishes bo rai cho for winning the round if hes drunk. Lol

Great list, bro! I agree with most things :D

There are some more things that i would put in the general balance of the game:

- Jump attacks can no longer be cancelled into aerial special attacks when whiffed and while you are on the way down from the jump in recovery frames. (aerial attack into another aerial attack (fuck the recovery frames and trip guard. lol)

- No more death by chip damage. The HP will stuck in the red pixel (think about Street Fighther V).

- Any side of throw can now be teched by 1,2,3 and 4 (no more 50/50 on throw).

- Pokes can no longer be special cancellable on BLOCK (it does not include tick throws).

What does the color have to do with the size of the font? That's not the issue. It's just that the blue font with the grey background may make it harder for other users to read.

I'm not trying to start some sort of an argument here. So you really need to knock it off with the condescending attitude.

If you're not gonna change it, fine. You don't have to. It was merely a request. Let's move forward.

@RevetLeafing You're right Tanya nerf to J+2 might mess up some of her combos which I didn't think about. They should only touch the downward hitbox or maybe make it less active so the combos stay the same.


The reason I put Shirai Ryu shouldn't lose any stamina for his cancels is because he doesn't have any that are +1 on block or neutral like Tanya has some. IIRC, almost all of Shirai Ryu cancels are around -8 on block with his best cancel being -5. Some of Tremor cancels are 0 or +1 on block, HQT are very plus, and Scorpion's teleport cancel is way more versatile than Takeda's IMO.

Also I forgot to put Shirai Ryu shouldn't build any meter for doing tele cancel if he got the stamina removed. The meter build would be kinda dumb lol

I'm not quite sure I get the purpose of the Jacqui change. If you want to slow down her overhead, make it 2 frames slower. Having to cancel it from f3/f4 doesn't really make it anymore telegraphed since it's still a 50/50. I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve other than adding an unnecessary extra button press when playing her.


My proposed changes to Jacqui

Universal:
- 4u4 input changed or made easier [I don't have trouble but others do]
- db1 7 frame startup [to put inline with other reflects/absorbs]
- bf2 -12 on block
- bf1 and ex bf1 safer on whiff (still death on block)


Full auto needs to be toned down a bit;
- db3, -5 on block (up from -1)
- df2, 2 frames extra recovery
- ex up rocket damage nerf (2-3%)

High tech needs some help;
- db2 40 frames of recovery (down from 60)
- Jacqui gets extra range on all punching normals and strings when gauntlets are buffed

No need for shotgun specific changes as bf2 nerf diminishes the strength of her 50/50s.


EDIT:
Can we also please change HQT Predator's low shot to be counted as a projectile? The fact that it isn't makes no sense and is very frustrating.

I agree with you on that, but I'd trade it for every other change in the list.
eh, aside from the hitbox issues in this game, im pretty much satisfied with the state of it, all they really need to do is buff or change some of the more abysmal characters so they can see more play really.

My changes for Bo -

Universal: Make F1 a true mid (Dragon Breath and Drunken Master)

Drunken Master: Remove the hangover effect completely. The variation is not high risk/high reward when you can go Dragon Breath and get way more rewards for a fraction of the risk.

Bartitsu: Give him an EX version of flying kick with one hit of armour, make it a high and -6. Was going to suggest making kane spin safe but I thini that'd be too much given his mixup potential, however, I think he'd really benefit from a safe armoured move as a get off me tool in this variation, I'd make it a high as Bo can then be baited out for a full combo punish on whiff.

Remove armour from EX snag and bump/kane strike in favour of the new EX flying kick.

When people suggest taking out the scaling to Cyber sub and I think about getting consistent 30% with flexibility like other characters. I can only dream.
 
GM change: after he use the ice clone, it will become temporarily unavailabe, he must do a move to make it available again. Or make it has 10 seconds cooldown. He should play footsie for a while before pressing the game winning button - db2

I think johnny should be the main cancel character in the game kinda how he used to be but we can be creative with ways in balancing him out. He is a cancel character by design he should jail on 3 or 4 cancels but
-increase cancel scaling and ex nut punch scaling on his cancel combos
-reduce his damage and chip overall
-bring back his old stamina system.
-1 hit of armour on his flip kick

Just my suggestions. Instead of completely ruining the way the character was designed and played, the changes could be a lot more creative and interesting kinda how K.I nerf their characters.

Predator (general)
Fix 21 stance position gap inconsistencies.

Jax HW
-Increase recovery after 212
-Remove gap and increase recovery from 12 (b4), its meant to be plus 3 on block or something but with 1000 recovery frames
-slightly increase stamina so he can at-least run after hitting ex OH. F21 after ex OH is way to inconsistent especially on female characters
