Same here lol. My 100% main is robin but got firestorm and black adam too. I prefer shazam but eh, hes gone, gotta use the next best thing.

hey gamers

how we feeling about Cheetah now that majority of the cast has been shown? Seems this game has a lot of characters that favour mid-long our baby could be in for a tough ride. Just wishful thinking however, just wanna lab with her :[

Out of curiosity also, her base stats will be interesting to see. Im thinking low health / def but should have high attack or what they are gonna call it. Do we know anything more about this? Can't say I'm a real fan on this concept

I still love her, and yeah... It kinda sucks she seems to have bad range but she will definitely be a beast when she's on your face.
I guess we would have to wait and see what her risk/reward is like, how good the zoning is and how bad her neutral is (I've seen a few options that seem promising for her to not be completely hopeless when it comes to ranged normals but we won't know until we get to play her.

I have 2 questions:
-Do the low grab works if the opponent is stand? If so...why use the high command grab? More damage maybe?
-I´m curious to know how the stance works....her inputs and how can you cancel or jump more or less distance..

Of course I don't know for sure since we haven't been able to play yet, but low grab will most likely only work on crouching opponents. And with pounce stance move typically pressing a directional button immediately after the move input will determine the distance the move travels. (Example: tapping forward right after the move input will make it go farther)

yes i would assume her low grab would work like Mileena's low pounce grab. That worked only on ducking opponents.

You should rewatch her breakdown on twitch. It's all in there in pretty exhausting detail.

She has three strings with mid hitting "throws", two restand, one has knockdown. A fourth has "throw" range with 1,2,T but the throw part is high so it will probably be duckable. She has high and low command throws, they work just like Mileena and Shazam. No word on throw comboability, but the high can be mb'd for a launcher.

Pounce stance has three jump arcs, can be delayed or dash cancelled, and allows her to do any air move on the way down including her Alex flying cross chop.

Crown piece is probably my favourite gear piece to customise, can't wait to experiment with the different options.



Side note, managed to grab a screen cap of her base stats, however gear seems to be affecting some. Going from other cast members it appears to be whole numbers ending in either 00 or 50 so going from the image above her base stats MAY look a little something like this 1100/1100/950/1000. Unsure the whole situation about them, but thought it may be helpful.
