Good to see her moveset is retained for the most part. I didn't get into the 1st Injustice, but I bought a copy recently for practice. I'm aware that she wasn't considered that good competitively though. To anyone who played INJ1, can you break down what her key problem areas were and the types of things you would do to overcome them? Do you think that will change for INJ2?
Disregarding whiffing issues, which hopefully will get fixed, she was a zoner with no anti air and a serios case of t-rex arms. Her guns were slow highs that only did 4% damage, which made her zoning okay at best and counter zoning ineffective because of how badly she lost trades. The recovery on them was amazing, but if you couldn't shoot then duck/block, one hit or trade would set you back pretty far.

Harley also had no real 50/50, her low being 12f and overhead 27f. Personally, I never found this to be a huge problem because of her frame traps, massive damage up close, and overall safety, but it is a tool she lacked.

She was so close to being a monster I think. One of dozens of changes could have made her overwhelming, they just never did anything but nerf her.

Did anyone catch if there was a downside to using her poison cupcakes? Like outside of her just not having access to her other gear items?

Seems like just a straight up buff to me, and I don't understand why anyone would have anything other than the poison version of her cupcakes locked into a spot.

Haha yeah, it seems like there isn't really a reason to not have that buff if you're going for abilities.

The new OH after 2 looks interesting. It's too bad that you have to do it from the string instead of it just being a new special.

Also, Harley's new trait seems like it's going to be pretty useful. You could throw out an OH trait, MB roll into a B22/TS/low for unblockable damage? It's going to be fun to find new setups with trait.

Yeah, the trait in general seems like she'll get some real dirt and even realer oki. I feel certain there will be a knockdown where you can hard to blockable. Or at least plus frames on wakeup.

Not really sure if it'll be that good as a zoning tool, but it doesn't need to be.

I'm going to have a lot of fun with her gear.

Apparently abilities will be enabled for ranked/competitive play, so we have a lot of tools to mess with.

Honestly, the gear is going to be so amazing in this game. So far everything Harley has looks great. It's also gonna be really fun to see what other Harley mains come up with! I'm hoping that they have gear for her that maker her look like she does in the Shattered Alliances picture.
I'm sure her Suicide Squad costume will definitely be in too. I wonder if they'll give her gear so that she's not wearing that face makeup like in the picture. Or, maybe that means that Harleen comes back for awhile in the story. Dr. Harleen Quinzel gear would also be pretty cool.

Yeah she pretty much looks like she's gonna be exactly the same for the most part! Trait will be the only thing we really have that's new to play around with. Really looking forward to her.

4:47 in the second video makes it look like Pop Pop might be a high to start now or it got low profiled. Let's hope they didn't make the move worse somehow :/

Been wanting to see if b22~tantrum still works for awhile, but it seems like everyone who gets to touch Harley doesn't know the string exists at all.

Is silly slide gone? Feels like kind of a big deal since it was pretty important for her pressure. I mean you basically get nothing after f23 now on block if they didn't reduce the pushback since nearly everything she had didn't reach after it.

Silly Slide is gone, b22 only combos into tantrum from max range, and pop pop missed cause the characters are small, happened against flash in i1 a lot.

I wonder what the logic behind taking her primary footsie tool and making it only combo from certain distances like that was. What does that even leave on hit if you're close then? B22~df1 for the reset?

Wait silly slide is gone lol what. Why would they do that? I guess SS being gone along with B22 only hitting at a certain range means that they want Harley to zone and not go on offense? I mean like that'd be fine and dandy and everything if every other zoner in the game didn't have better zoning tools than her lol What do you guys think about that?

It didn't even occur to me that b2 tantrum would work and b22 wouldn't lol. I don't think that's really going to be hit confirmable except off jump ins though. Having to commit isn't a big deal though.

Changes the character a lot for me though. I've always either not had to hitconfirm with her or had silly slide to make hitconfirming easy. This is probably why I'm so shitty at hit confirming in general since she was my first main.
