That would be me. I said Lucky Chloe arguably replaced them. That was the prevailing idea.

How does her being DLC confirm all TTT2 characters will be in this game?

Do you rate yourself decent with him? As much as I love guides and tourney vids, I find I learn a lot better through getting bodied by the character after obtaining a moderate understanding of them and recognising what move is what

Eddy or Lee?

In the grand scheme of fighting games, where it's:

Beginner
Novice
Intermediate
Expert
Professional

I don't think I'm no more than a Novice when it comes to Tekken. That being said, Like you mentioned, I can play you so you can be familiar with the moves of the characters and it can be a bit easier to take in the information when you play a lower level player.

But if you seek to truly learn, I'd definitely pick the brains of EddyWang, FinlandSmoke, SaltShaker, anybody else who posted in the thread.

EDIT: @Kooron Nation The main reason i'm trying to be careful in my wording is that while lack of knowledge is a detriment, I fear spreading misinformation is a further detriment to those trying to learn.

No problems man I'll take any help I can get.
But I meant Lee, not a fan at all of Eddy, I actually hate him but I think it's to do with all the times as a kid I lost to friends who just spammed his moves randomly to the point of rage quitting.

I'd say I'm full beginner when it comes to Tekken; games like Mortal Kombat and Injustice I'd intermediate, but those games don't really relate to Tekken in the slightest.

Eliza is the least wanted character
If she is in the game and she is the least favorite, this pretty much confirms that every other TTT2 unrevealed character who is not a clone (eddy, Lei, Kunimitsu, Julia, Jun, Oldman Wang, Ganryu, Jinpachi) are probably going to be in in the PS4 release as well, and maybe not even as DLC characters, we started to see this going and going.

They announced Bob, Master Raven, Miguel, Kuma Yo/panda, now Eddy as leaked.


Its kinda hard to know who will miss the cut, all these characters have original playstyles and yet, some of them Like Jun and Kuni were totaly redesigned in TTT2, they even got buffs in Revolution and played a lot better.

Just rooting for this to be true, Also the pressure seems to be on Harada's point of view, since no one wants their character out, so i guess in the end he will try to please everyone and give mostly the TTT2 full roster, except the clones maybe.

There will be no Bruce in this game.

Hey guys... I'm new to tekken. Is it easier to play on pad or stick? I have a fight stick for PS4 but only pad for Xbox... so will help my decision for which console to purchase for! If better on pad I'd rather play on Xbox... rather than just get for PS4 to cover both options

If you play both on stick and pad then I would say stick since some characters are equal with both but some characters are better on stick.

What do you think the chances of Ogre making it in are? I've always liked him.
Also wouldn't Michelle replace Julia seeing as Michelle was the original character but Julia replaced her but then they were both in it?
Is Kuni not a Yoshi clone?
You didn't mention Roger Jr., surely he MUST be in? I hope so he is a favourite of mine.

IMO Kuni is a blatant "power assist" character similar to Jinpachi and both were tossed into TTT2 just to be there to have every Tekken character in the same title. Both fit the tag mechanics well and had easy high dmg combos. Both also lacked polish and seemed somewhat lacking... except that Jinpachi had individual moves that were just straight OP and not in line with the general rules of the game like df1+2, df2 and u4. He also had some questionable mechanics with multiple fast moves that had the Bryan fF2 or Heihachi 1+2 "quick back roll or eat a guaranteed ground hit" knockdown. He got a frkn forward teleport shoulder as the guaranteed ground hit lmao. I am willing to bet neither will make the cut.

Jun has too many similarities with Asuka who is already in so I doubt she'll be in either. Both Ogres have way too many copied moves to be an interesting characters on their own as well.

We'll most likely see Lei, Julia and Anna at the very least. Ganryu and Wang could also just be cut due to unpopularity. If Kuma makes it then Roger might as well.

Eliza is there just because she has projectiles. This is in line with Akuma being in the game as a beta test for a future Tekken vs Street Fighter game.

So it's Lei, Julia, Anna and Roger, maybe Ganryu and Wang. This is in line with streamlining the game mechanics, introducing 2D elements and just generally making the game more accessible and appealing to non-hardcore fans.

there is no really a way to confirm anyone tho, but if my friends theory is correct, most of the TTT2 chars will be in the game.

Ogre died in TTT2, not sure about rojer.
Michelle is dead as well, Julia is the replacement, Jaycee probably won't be coming back.
Kuni is not a Yoshi clone, and she become her own character in TTT2 and Revolution, see it down here:

in TTT2 she is very good, but in revolution they let her loose and she has some crazy loops that weren't possible in TTT2, in sum they have improved her gameplay design

Alisa replaces Dr.B

Pretty much the only chars who can return yet to the game aside from the current cannons are pointing out highly on Jun and Kuni.

Wang, capos, Lei and everyone else except maybe bruce irving, dr B, rojer, and many of those who shows up in tag lately will be in, i wouldn't count Ganryu out, he is Harada's favorite character.

Also, Jun in TTT2 was her own character and she played nothing like asuka aside from parry and maybe 3 moves, besides she is among the most requested characters since her storyline has an undefined line right now.

i wouldn't count those characters out just yet.

so i would like to clear up i used to have these...
Cant hit it to save my life now. I dont have a stick for xbone so i am trying it on pad and it seems to be a no go. I never had it super consistent but now it seems to be a big fat 0

I just realized that Paul's Rage Deathfist is QCF 1+2. Does that mean he can no longer do his old QCF 1+2 from crouch dash?

It looks like it, yes. I also realized that you can do bone breaker from the full crouch animation.

Bone breaker as in D4, 1 or FF2 : 1?

This is the first time I've seen that there is counterpicking in Tekken. The Heihachi vs Jack match-up looks bad in particular.

The FF+2:1 move, The Full crouch version which is FC df+2:1, this is a new move in BR.
