He gonna be low tier

On the video ST:s trait lasts 8s. That's a time to complete one setup maybe two with the trait on. So yea we don't know how many strings/normals he has to tick throw. And there is numerous ways still get out of the tick/setup in injustice so I don't think they gonna make ticks that good in this game either. Athough jumping is the most common way to get out but as you see the trait you just gonna know what to do next most of the time.

IMO the vine grab is still unclear is it a hit or throw cos his already having command grab in short range and the video seems to be like cheetah isn't trying to block it as his moving back and forth.

About the tp I bet its just a hit too that hits in front, mb close up the cap and normal just hits oppoment closer to you. MB might be throw who knows..

To add in that trait it doesn't take command dashes and command aerials away or that's what I think. So char like black canary can back and forward dash all she wants and jump with her specials too..

lol his tools sound broken lets see how nrs handles this. poor paulo, always these op characters come to him and need to be balanced.

His trait combined with the fact that he is a grappler sounds kinda stupid. Gotta wait and see how they handle it.

I can see this character, and potentially others too, being totally ruined by throw immune moves (like all the b3 and f3 were in IGAU). If that crap is still a thing, grapplers have no point to exist

Grundy was the only true grappler so he was the only one truly ruined. Same thing can easily happen to any grappler in Injustice 2, we don't know if Swamp Thing will be the only one

That trait is going to be a nightmare in the corner. And if you can pop that shit and MB roll and cover the entire screen.....

I hope the trait stays active when he gets hit; It would force some characters to use different combos instead of the same old BnB. It would also prevent some dumb mix-ups like Superman's OTG reset or Batman's butt-cheeks.

Swamp Thing has a really cool design, I know a lot of you guys really wanted him so I'm happy for you guys that he looks good.

I'm hoping the next breakdowns are Robin, Deadshot, and Ivy.

I don't think his trait will work against someone in the corner. It appears under him, not in front of him.

I hope we get to be trolly af with him, like knockdown into trait into mb roll through into kick logs at them while they can't jump them lolololol watch your toes - Swamp Bae: zoning master!

doubt it imo, if its in day 1 its prob intended to work that way.
we only seen swampy walk after it so we dont know if it spreads the garden on his dash/jump
sure the cooldown on the trait could be massive aswell,
so much we just dont know yet

I was basically implying that the outcry from people claiming it's "broken" or "OP" would cause a kneejerk reaction and it would get nerfed to shit.

vs strings could maybe be a thing but im brain farting a bit on the 2nd part here but command grabs cant be pushblocked in previous games right?
