Which variation do you use the most?

What the hell? I've tried every possible combo/normal and came to the conclusion that I saw the vid wrong as I cant remember what video I saw exactly but b12 whiffs if you don't run cancel I think. Can anyone upload a vid of any string normal that can cancel into a spear WITHOUT the run cancel?

Maybe it doesn't, I know 214 tele, b12 never drops nor needs running. Try 214 ex tele, ji3 tele, b12 spear

Yea 214 tele b12 doesn't whiff but I'm talking about the second tele, the ex one, so I'm trying to do 214~TP~214~ex TP~ then anything that doesn't require a run cancel after the ex TP that cancels into spear.

Then the best thing to do is just 214, ex tele, ji3, tele and so forth

Yea thanks, just thought I had seen someone connect with a kick into a spear after the second tele without run canceling.,
If you are having trouble with the run cancel try this trick, input the run while the ex teleport animation is still finishing and he will immediately start running on the first possible frame, then just do 21~spear. That way you dont have to rush and do run, 21~spear all at once. Helped me be able to do it 100% of the time even online

Ah ok, so even if the ex animation is still finishing if I do the run command it'll run even if i executed the command early??

I input it while the end of the ex teleport animation is still happening and he starts running immediately following the ex teleport. So basically, yes.

What is the worst matchup for Ninjutsu Scorpion?
There isn't really any "worst" mu for Scorpion since he doesn't really have losing matchups. Relentless/Unstoppable Jason can be a handful, same with maybe Kitana who is self explanatory. Characters like SR Takeda is annoying at times but manageable.

I think crystalline tremor and ermac give him a hard time as well.

Crystalline is 5-5 against ninjutsu. Ermac if anything loses to ninjutsu hard outside of Spectral. Mystic loses since his main tool in push is extremely punishable by ninjutsu that he has to use a bar to even make himself safe. Ermac can't really do much to ninjutsu. Spectral is even with his pressure and stuff but I haven't played any good spectral in a while so that may be subjected to change

Is mystic's push still punishable if spaced at max distance? And doesn't tremor's flex gives ninjutsu scorpion a hard time?

push is still punishable at max range with b2. Flex can be broken by f2 and b4. and even d4 keeps tremor in check and Tremor's lack of a solid mid allows Ninjutsu to disrespect him
 
So I was in a match playing hellfire scorpion and I noticed something with his hellfire aura, so I had just done a 214 fbrc then accidentally did s3 hellfire aura, but i noticed the hit on the hellfire aura was sort of delayed, leaving scorpion very plus. I havnt found a way to do this consistently and was wondering if anyone knows anything about this or how to do it consistently

im sorry but i cant elaborate much since i wasnt paying much attention to what i did, all i did was a 214 fbrc then s3 db4 and the hellfire aura hit was delayed, (all on block) im not sure what else i can say about what i did

My best guess is that he means flame aura being blocked meaty.

If you want to do this on purpose consistently, it's best to do it on oki from a knockdown with a lot of hit advantage such as F2 or B32F2. Covers delayed wakeup attempts pretty well since they have no choice but to block in the later active frames of the aura activation.

Would Grandmaster be a bad matchup for Ninjutsu? Or do his swords go through clone?
F2 can get through clone in some instances, but it's iffy to enforce in neutral due to reversal slide punishing it clean.

That said, I currently have it down as a 5-5 but it could be 6-4 either way.

But how does Scorp get out of the corner since he only has shit armour that hits low and Sub has so reason to block OH, so it's extremely obvious?

Whoever gets their gameplan going first wins. The swords go through the clone and b4 at a certain range does too. Scorpion can teleport some clone cancels with ex tele. The range is specific. Scorpion can go through the clone with d3 and d1 ad well. Punish Sub's b2 and ur having a field day

Two hits of armor if u read Sub being aggressive. And u can poke punish Sub if cornered is also a legit option. U can then try and d4 to follow up to give urself some space.
