KIT 2017 Mortal Kombat X Top 8 is Set Feat. SonicFox, Semiij, WoundCowboy and more

The last 8 men standing are here as day two of Kumite of Tennessee is finally starting to settle... until tomorrow. They are all fighting for the 1st place spot. SonicFox won this event last year and he one of two of the ONLY returning top 8 contenders w/ WoundCowboy being the other. Will history repeat itself or will someone prove an upset over the newly named "Echo Fox | SonicFox"?

Tweedy is getting a lot of hate, but tbh he played amazing and his game with toxin couldve went both ways.

Hes one of the most improved players of the NRS community.

Wei has been pretty consistent in most tournaments he goes, i wish he had that time in MK9.

Im no fan of Tweedy but there is no denying his Possessed is very good, probably the best out there. That set with Toxin could've gone either way.

hes really not. There are multiple other players who have improved more than he has. Not trying to hate or throw shade. Players like Sylverrye and Destroyed have improved so much more than he has. Dragon as well from when he first started playing. Its kinda just facts.

If Toxin would just did d3 instead of B1 on the Teleport that set wouldn't of been that close. Toxin missed ALOT of potential punishes. Hopefully that doesn't carry over into Top 8.

Goes both ways, Tweedy had several opportunities to win earlier. Could've gone either way, but it ended how it ended and is history now.

How good he is is irrelevant to my point. He said he was guaranteed to get top 8 at two majors, he didn't make either. He does this constantly; talks himself up and then doesn't deliver. He just needs to chill and play the damn game, let his gameplay do the talking instead of his enormous ego.

Top 16 is nothing to be embarrassed of ...

He's a good Kenshi player, nobody says the opposite. His mouth, sadly, is very big, and he's so obsessed with placing and proving something that I think that's the main reason why he doesn't deliver.

About "the best", I don't know another way to measure it than placings. And when speaking about Kenshi, he has no tourney top 8's with him, no matter how many times he has promised to get them.

Pig is the only one with a good resume with Kenshi in mkx, he's best Kenshi, unless we start measuring things in another weird subjective way that didn't take into account offline tourney placings, and that would force us to consider a bunch of good online players too.

And no words about the racist attack against Xinok? It was an act of racism, you know what happened offline too, tired of this community, tired of racists North Americans, because not doing anything against a racist attack, makes you a racist too.

Everyone disrespected Xinok, constantly waitting him to loose, treating him different, humillating him. Offline strangely when he was defeating Semij in the 2nd game, the ps4 blacked out...

Everyone wants everyone to lose, nothing new.

Besides, the whole PS4 going into rest mode thing is due to him and Semiij too, if you dont desync before your match, this shit happens. You can turn around and look pissed off all you want, doesn't change the fact it's their fault.

For all you know it wasnt intentional, most likely due to another player that had been on stream trying to sync to another PS4 across the room. It's not the first time this has happened, and it isn't going to be the last.

Fist of all, Yes North America has it's race issues for sure. Not sure why, but for some reason the color or someone's skin offends somebody. Stupid to me, but I guess some people see it differently.

I have no idea what happened at KiT, so I cannot comment on the other situations than the PS4 being put to rest mode. Semiij to my best knowledge is Mexican, and Xinok is Brazilian? So they are both "non-american" Yes it happened at an REALLY unfortunate time for Xinok and may have been a HUGE break for Semiij, but that is all on the players, BOTH of them. They need to learn to delete the blue tooth devices before they play the tournament match. (This isn't either ones first tournament.)

If it is true that people are waiting for him to lose. Well umm, that happens when you are a named / good player. People wish Sonic to lose all of the time, people want to see Tweedy lose. They are both good players, but people want them to lose for totally different reasons. People want to see Gods fall, and people with loud mouths fall. Nothing new.

By no means and I saying that what happened to him wasn't directly directed to him because of his race, or where he is from. People are idiots, people are ignorant. Would any of this be talked about if the players actually deleted the controllers? Who knows.
