Fatal 8 for injustice 2? How about Sexy 16?

Awkward Sloth

Lamest Harley, still better sloth than Jer
Funny thing is in Injustice I made a career of being that guy who was always in it when everyone slept on him or doubted his skill & ability. Seems to be the case again.
Or you know another Harley main did better than you at a few tournaments.

And if you say well he didn't use only Harley neither did you.

Not doubting ability. Checking you on your ego.

I said stupid shit in this thread, but to be fair, I just questioned the criteria and Playing2win dumped on me about my MKX career. I was backed into a corner for no reason.

I'm confident that i'm better at this game than he was at Injustice, it's just not something that I can prove to people who lurk on forums and have not played me. Maybe if I had the gas money for Youmacon i'd be able to prove it kappa.

Anyone can say this -- and it's a good trait to believe strongly in your own abilities -- but in arguments and discussions, results will always speak louder than words.

When history is written, no one in any sport says "I think he was good". You want the glory, you have to go for the gold.

Just don't worry about it man. Just keep doing you bro. I will do the same. All I did was state the fact that out of all Harley mains (when we were all loyalist) I outplaced them throughout the duration of the game.

Yeah but in the era of online being almost as good as offline, I have more results than he did.

People who do not play just don't understand. Ask Reo how good I am at this game, or anyone who has a respectable opinion around here that plays me. I can beat anyone. Was Playing2win at a point on Injustice where he was a threat to beat anybody?

The story will be told at NEC/KIT. I can't wait.

In the era of single elimination weekly leages and whatnot, there hasn't been a true online major yet. There are plenty of smaller tournaments (and exhibitions) but the offline format is still the standard for the biggest events until someone throws something similar online.

That's only really said by people who don't play, though. They just don't understand how good online is now, how legit the tournaments are.

It's like talking to an old person about smart phones.

No, the same people aren't comparing offline weeklies, exhibitions, and smaller events to majors. The online format is perfectly valid, but until we see a true honest to goodness major (with a tourney-standard double elimination bracket) held online, there is no basis for comparison.

Saying "I won the Fatal 8 or a stacked WNF" and "I won a major" doesn't carry equivalent weight even offline.

Second Saint

A man with too many names.
And for that I have an ego...Its not like I said "All Harley players except me were trash & I am the God of Harley." NOW THAT is having an ego.
God, you're giving me flashbacks to Steam. We had a guy who was literally like that. Came on TYM and managed to get permabanned in the space of 15 posts I think. He had some very real mental issues and was super obsessed with you.

And yet i consistently see people who enter these online events complain about the shitty connections they have to endure week after week. The twitter salt is amazing for online events. More salt than any offline events. Lol

Because more people enter online tournaments.

16 people go to an ESL event and 2-3 complain about monitors or bad weather. When there's 200-500 in an online event, you'll see quite a few complaints.

Not really. I guess having 500 people is nice. But when 450 of them are randoms with 200+ ping mcinternet vs Combo Breaker getting 200+ people with a large amount being strongish player i would rather have offline. Also the monitor thing is literally just PL.

Numbers don't offset the many problems faced with single elim. Online tournaments.

Sure the online is better than before but you still need to prove yourself consistently offline if you want to be considered a top player and not a one hit wonder.

Talking to old people about a smart phone, again.
