Life is a block string with no gaps.
Ryu looks like he'll be more like necalli. Vtrig is his threat mode.

Bison looks interesting. I think he'll be more hype if nothing else with some possible combo creaticity once fireball charged.

Sim looks terrifying.

I don't understand why they normalized Nash. Taking away his "thing" and making him more similar to a shoto.

Guile berffffffs.

Happy with what I've heard for gief. Will still like something buffed in regards to his V system.

Not sure that MUCH will change for alex. He has a meterless combo off fwd lariat now I guess. Doesn't change much.

Chun is still going to be good. Glad to see her crazy stuff nerfed tho.

Fang... still needs more poison damage. His Vtrigger buff doesn't mean much imo. His normals are built in such a way as to give him time for charge. I guess it could help with fireball/mine zoning... kinda. Because he can build charge for the next fireball while doing one.

Urien is looking strong. Glad to see it.

I hope the ibuki stuff is true. She needs it.

And goodbye throw loops. You won't be missed... well rushdown will miss you i guess. That's about it tho.

Honestly if that is the only change Gief gets then I am actually happy.

Hear me out. Tell me what you think.

What if:
1.)v skill stored damage taken and returned it as more damage on next spd unless you take an actual hit (like mika I think)
Or
2.) Grey health taken from vskilling was healed upon hitting the opponent with said that particular vskill (wouldn't work like full screen fireball absorbing)

I personally like the first one. You could absorb a fireball and threaten an extra powerful spd as you approached. And you'd be more rewarded for trying to parry and punish things like dash punch or step kick.

I think they would both fit the theme of zangief. Without being too strong. Thoughts?

Im not sure about the 1st one as for this to happen, something would be taken away like range or something but I would prefer that to the second one.

Just spit balling. Can't sleep. Well... a 50% reduction on dmg taken to white life during vskill would be nice at least. Really doesn't feel good taking all that damage. Iron body...

Lol my favorite is.. well gief has extra health to help him get in. Yo it's like 50 more than ryu. He takes like two jabs more than avg char.

I don't (yet) main gief so I like to think I'm unbiased.

I get that all the time man, its funny as hell to hear that. As for the 50% white health, this suggestion has been thrown around since the release and I think it would be probably the most useful.

He was already good imo. Underrated for some reason (hard to master?). Now his normals are looking to be at advantage on blocks, further solidifying his best MUs and strengthening his others.

All of his anti airs have improved. His b.hp one and his b.mp via faster startup. His cr mp via better horizontal hitbox.

His lk is 4 frames down from 5.

Vskill (float) is faster.

Vtrigger no longer gets cancelled by vreversal (aka flame carpet still comes out)

The bulk of it there.

Guiles LP Boom apparently got nerfed so no more loops. They sped it up slightly.

I'm furious right now.
You don't use LP boom for loops you use medium into light break. LP boom is just quicker to nerf his zoning slightly by the looks. The nerf to loops is the 2 bar trigger, but overall I think having 2 triggers a round will be a slight buff so we good.

The break was what I was talking about, I just made a mistake lol. I heard in a Twitch chat (reliable af source) that the LP break is sped up so that you can't dash in a still get your HP.

Guile has a two bar v trigger now down from three

The break was what I was talking about, I just made a mistake lol. I heard in a Twitch chat (reliable af source) that the LP break is sped up so that you can't dash in a still get your HP.

Scaling makes that extra 50 hp into more though. It's actually like an extra 100 ehp.

if we can't get Sagat in season 2 bc, all s2 chars are new to the franchise, then, can they atleast add this dude, as an aggresive Muay Thai fighter (with fireballs ofc) and maybe a command grab, that would look like Sagat's fwd throw ("hey hey hey") ?? pls ??? that would be sick

I hope that I'm wrong, honestly! Loops are hype and I swear every loop you complete, breaks your opponent mentally a little bit each time. True story.
