Brook ''XBox One to PS4'' controller adapter

Youphemism

Gunslinger since pre patch (sh/out to The Farmer)
I don't have a brook converter, I'm an MKX Tournament Organizer and this is what I was experiencing with our systems. The systems were up-to-date on the game and the system OS.
Did you happen to notice the colour of the light on the converters by any chance? Were they lit light blue or purple?

So, what do you mean by this exactly?
Not sure if it's related to your problem, but a while back (FW update 3.50), 3rd party controllers (Hori, MadCatz) and also converters had sign-in issues on the PS4 when we tried using 2 of them on the same console simultaneously, it would constantly assign the 2nd controller to player 1, the Brook adapters no longer have that problem though.

edit: I re-read your post, it's hard to tell if people constantly desyncing their dualshock 4 controllers was the cause of why the Brook adapters malfunctioned or froze the screen. More tests will have to be done. But the problem is no issue have been reported from the SF community and that's because most of their players use sticks and desyncing is not something they have to do. It'd be nice if you or any MKX/NRS tourney organizers can keep informing Brook on the issues you encounter.

Btw, being a member on this board and somewhat familiar with the scene, I know that running NRS games at tourneys is a nightmare.

Yeah I will definitely keep an eye out. Unfortunately I don't have any converters of my own, cause if I did, I would be doing some serious testing but, I'll wait til NEC. I'll take notes there.

NRS games ARE a nightmare but its gotten a lot better over the years.
