Check out one of REO's latest videos showcasing all armor attacks that consist of either 2 or 3 hits. This video is over 5 minutes long and shows you ALL of the resepctive armor attacks in the game. It's a very nice display of what they can beat out.

WTF is this? 1/4 of the kast has only one wakeup attack armor, and the rest do have 2-3 wakeup attack armors, and only F/T has a helluvah of armors?

Yeah, and some characters have tails and guns and shit. It's completely unfair.

If the point of introducing double armor was making wakeup a true guess for the attacker between attack/no attack and tone down oki, I don't know why characters like Liu kang or Raiden still get to break most of these double armors like butter, when these double armor attacks are all low damaging. Risk reward is fucked up on wu vs those characters.

What double armor does Liu Kang break through easily? Besides the slower ones

Maybe all double armors should be slightly faster.
I mean, if they deal 14 to 19% maximum, and some are even punishable...I don't think that would be crazy.

Or just make the second and third hits of those strings that still break them slightly slower.

What double armor does Liu Kang break through easily? Besides the slower ones
Windmill punches in corner break almost any armor in the game according to zyphox.

I would gladly take Shinnok's former ex scoop than have his current two hitting shoulder. You can make an argument that offense is stronger in this version of the game because the aggressor has less to fear. The risk reward has been shifted to the offensive player.
This. This patch was supposed to make defense stronger, and in many aspects it has ended up being the opposite.

I think there are many inconsistencies all over the wakeups. I also believe that not every change makes sense. When I say sense I mean the whole purpose of the move and how dose it fit in between the rest of the wakeupe moves.

On the other hand, there could be other ways to make the wakeup system works properly.

There are few key points here that should be always kept in mind while applying changes. I really the armor breaking moves, they are not very strong but they add another layer to the meta. We also have so many useless back dashes, we have the damn "block breaker" or whatever its called, if all those option were takin' care of maybe we would focus so much on the armor moves or maybe we would be it would be really great to have options for different scenarios.

MKX could have really deep defensive system, deeper then any FGC I guess at this moment if all those tools were finished in design aspect.
