Whose Turn Is It? Games
2708 S. Lamar Blvd
Austin, Tx 78704

1. SenorAbram (SR Takeda, Ninjutsu Scorpion) -- San Antonio
2. Mutiny Starcharger (Kitana) -- Houston
3. KH Royale (Kano, Kitana, Boneshaper Shinnok) -- Houston

4. BLTMr.Nauj (Quan Chi) -- NorCal
5/6. Westcoast Jeff (Gunslinger EB) -- SoCal
5/6. Henzzar (CSZ) -- Austin
7/8. Tweedy | ATP (Tarkatan Alien, Mystic Ermac) -- Texas
7/8. LoveIn60FPS (Shinnok) -- Austin

Despite a smaller turnout than last year there was lots of good competition. Notable players that did not make top 8 were Fluffyfawn & #DaKlan Lordwinning putting on a show with Hat Trick & Broodmother respectively. The turnout of non-Austin players was more varied than last year also. Last year about 10 Dallas players that dominated were not in attendance. Also, we saw a different Houston crew this time. And DatBoi traveled all the way from Mississippi just to pew pew us with HQT.

Uncertainty was in the air when the tournament commenced. Veteran Starcharger looked worried when he thought Westcoast Jeff flew all the way from Cali just to attend LSB2. The nerves were visible as LoveIn60FPS took Starcharger all the way to game 5 in Round 2 of winners.

As the Losers side thinned out, SenorAbram & Starcharger played an intense set in Winners Finals. The result was a close 3-2 but SenorAbram went on to Grand Finals. In Losers top 8 LoveIn60FPS could not get his head around Westcoast Jeff's quick shooting Gunslinger. And ATP dropped a set winning combo against Henzzar and allowed Henzzar to win 3 straight for the ultimate upset. Maybe there was no Mystic in top 8 at SCR for a reason...

Despite the mutual respect in both the next sets, BLTMr.Nauj 3-0'd his fellow westcoast warrior, and Royale 3-1'd Henzzar's CSZ with a jank Kitana. Even post MKXL balance patch, the mix is well alive. BLTMr.Nauj found that out well enough versus Royale's Cutthroat! Top 3 was set between Royale, Starcharger and SenorAbram. Would Houston once again claim the top prize? It was a good thing Royale and Starcharger did not travel together. Losers Finals was a back and forth battle until finally Royale's trademark choke effect gave Starcharger the W.

Meanwhile SenorAbram was plotting a possible Blood God pick against Starcharger's Assassin Kitana. But in Grand Finals he would stick with Ninjutsu Scorpion against Starchager. Down but not out Starcharger fought valiantly, but SenorAbram slipped away once again and took Grand Finals 3-2.

Not only did the stream fail, but my recordings got corrupted. No vods. Very sorry! Next year we will work more directly with Fightsessions and use their expertise to assist us in our weaknesses. This Tuesday night we plan to cast a discussion about the event overall. Please join @ twitch.tv/ryuujin882. I'll be streaming directly from my PS4, so no issues should occur...

Thank you to all the players that made this possible & congrats to the top 3!!
