This is the one I got beaten up in the online tourney. First time against this one. I know of the Summoner, since in MKXL Beta from Kold_Warrior[GR].
Alright I'm gonna call out D'Vorah players here. If her puddle in combos or midscreen was "a gimmick," why has the puddle nerf "demolished" the character? A tool that was defined by top D'Vorah (down)players as only applicable in oki cannot seriously be one of the two threads that held this variation together.
Demo did not get off easier, I can't convert to decent damage off of anti-air grenade anymore and that forced me to drop the character.
Demo is #1 in the game imo.

There are so many characters that you can consider strong right now though. Demo might be one of the overall best variations due to her ability to negate reversals by using delayed stun grenades to always win trades. however, i think a good hish qu ten would win that 6-4 or possibly 6.5 - 3.5. he just eliminates her tools (like her entire air game), and the new stamina changes make him so much stronger against a character like her. if she can get in and stay in, sure she can win.
It's only natural that many Sonya players drop her now that she require some skill.

depends at which distance and sometimes sonya becomes a sitting duck in some scenarios or has to do risky things to get it
I lost an ability to convert off an anti-air to get decent damage which a lot of characters with aerial projectiles get for free in a lot of situations
yea HQT is good from a distance and Sonya is a monster up close. However HQT has some plus frame and d1 d4 to defense himself. That matchup feels like 5 - 5 to me, there's no way HQT can rape Sonya that hard
You say warlock is the worst but may I direct you towards Lackey? At least you have the base stuff that makes Quan good. Lackey is WORSE than variationless F/T.
