Not trying to step into this whole drama stuff since it's dumb, but Xinok has told me he believes Crystalline is top 5.

Why is Inflames opinion not respected? I always thought of Inflames as the best Tremor after DJT stopped playing him. I know Dave and RZA are great, but Inflames is that dude, no?

Bdon is good but he's Aftershock only I believe. Destroyer also plays both Aftershock/Crystalline and thinks Crystalline is better.

The crystal shatter is really dumb, now that he has a faster mid and poke. His counterpoke game after it is amazing now. He also has flex, which is probably the best armor stopper in the game, since a lot of armor has two hits. Less armor to blow up strings into shatter. Unless a character has multi hitting armor, I don't understand how Crystalline isn't the best choice.

Just do strings into shatter. Poke them if they try to do anything besides poke, block their pokes and take your turn. Since you can be so liberal with the shatters, it makes the cancels much stronger. Am I wrong?

Inflames opinion is respected? Everyone sees him as the number one metallic and just giving u a heads up DJT was by far not the best tremor player. He was just a good player in general which caused his succes. Being completely honest destroyer just picked up tremor and its still in the beginning stages. He doesnt really know what hes doing IMO. Besides the crystalline shit, because a monkey could play crystalline. Like i said before the basic gameplan of crystalline is simple. Hes also not good enough with air quake yet to use the variation effectively so i could see why he says crystalline is bettwr consodering its so much easier to plah then aftershock.

Oh btw like i said before there is less of a risk for people to disrespect crystalline now.
Dont get me wrong its still good but just not as good. Now the variation system has to actually be used with tremor because all three variations shine in their own MUs. Also because of just general gameplay fixes id say overall aftershock is better. Definently not a one character fits all MUs kinda character but closer to tht than crystalline.

Ive been casually playing predator since the release but its not amazing or anything. Aftershock is one of those characyers you have to religously play in order to do well with it.

I've been blown up so many times for saying this about DJT. I still remember Nikolaus blowing DJTs mind when he saw him do ex shatter - NJP- f3~bf2 - b2~db2. DJT was like.. wtf is that combo!!??

Thats how godlike DJT is as a player. He was winning games against the best in the world playing a tremor with practically all sub optimal bnb's lol. He was leaving up to 10% on the table more often than not.

How was my AS btw? We only got to play 4-5 games, but it should give you an idea of what I like to do. Looking for advice, as im always trying to get better.

Also.. the Aftershock mirror is hilarious.

Guys doesnt it make sense that aftwrshocks ex straight shatter has block stun of ermacs push. Considering that aftwrshock is probably one of the most defensive characters in the game.

Also u cant even combo in the conrner anymore so wtf just make it lile ermavs push

Not only was he not doing optimal shit, but he wasnt playing the character to his strengths, but that just goes to show how godlile djt it

Ik i hate that MU haha. I played it with inflames a long ass time ago and it was annoying as hell. Id say u just have to get better with air quale cuz u werwnt getting to low. Air quale gets blown up when u cant do it low and consistently. Other than that just make sure u know whem u can zone and when u cant. Also u should always use db1 as an ender especially because u get more optimal dmg from it as well as set ups from dd1.

I have a mini guide i made on the fly with tremor in the aftershock thread somewhere recently theres alot of stuff there.

So...I think my Tremor is pretty friggin' decent.

But I need someone professional to test him against for the sake of this argument.

Any takers?
I can play all three variations, although Aftershock is definitely my specialty.
I've been playing him since he came out, and although I can't say for certain how well I stack up against the rest of the stoner crew until NEC, I can definitely say there is no one in this game I know better than Tremor.
I'm middle of the pack decent with Crystalline and just getting started breaking open Metallic, but I'm willing to run sets and experiments with any and every player within eyesight of this thread in whichever MU they please for the sake of furthering my studies and expanding my progress towards the ultimate goal of making an impact at NEC.
My ongoing endeavor to do battle with Lord Brady is one thing, but as far as the actual tournament is concerned, that is beyond any shadow of a doubt going to be left in the hands of the Crystal Gem of Mortal Kombat.

Destroyer's Tremor isn't bad, though. He uses it in tournament. It's probably stronger than his Goro and he's known for Predator and Goro.

I think u should try and play madzin because he seems to know the MU way more than brady. Ive played cuckalo, brady and madzin. Madzin gives me the most trouble.

What tournament, idk man. Ive played m2daves crystalline and watched killer xinoka and rzas tremor. Hes not on that level yet and as for aftershock its alot harder to play and understand how to use him. I cant see him being tournament ready with aftershock at all.

Btw @OmGxBdON . I need to level up my Aftershock before AFKXL. Do you have more exercise for the IAQ ? It's getting better everyday but I cant reach that @Cooljaxx level iaq :'(

Although the mirror is hilarious, I think its really a cool experience seeing the things other Tremors do. It really helps me develop my own game.

I jist do it till my hand hurts haha. Not really much u can praxtice except for playing him and playing him. The funny thing with cooljax is he can get the best iaQ that i have seen from any tremor player ive played,but it happens like once to where it doesnt even make a difference. Its more important to be consistent. Consistent but low. I watched u play aftershock and u seemed pretty consistent. If u get lower than that youll be solid. Also i have an aftershock guide in the aftershock thread and in another thread too. If u read tht i think it would hell alot

I'm right there with you. I can get them pretty damn low when I bump up the analog stick to jump, and use the d-pad for the down down input. The problem is that I cant control the distance, and its really awkward to do in certain situations.. like trying to check a poke after f121 on block for example.

Also I think the tremor community should work on the new match up chart (patch 1.14) . As u know now the 3 variation are pretty solid, so if we can all share our MU experience, it would be great for everybody here

Wasn't that when REO was playing on some other guys account trying to pretend he was him.. like we wouldn't recognize the most stupid Kabal in the game lol. That was so amazing. People complained about his connection, but it wasn't just that. Madzin was just the best Noob in the world, and it wasn't even close.
