A cool thing about F4-(ex)saw is that - even though it's a mid>high - your opponent can't neutral duck the high (ex)saw. They still get hit. It's a completely safe mid-hitting launcher if they block.

I haven't and don't think i'd really use it, EX tele has some pretty bad scaling then it hits a bomb for more scaling, and delayed wake-up which is what everyone does now would make the air bomb useless. Its cool and swaggy but its use is limited

I was actually gone ask you guys about that. How bad is Cyrax gonna struggle with so many two hit armor moves in the wild now

You can use F21 to break armor prior to the 10/4 patch. As far as an armor-breaking setup goes, I'm thinking of ending a combo with a HKD > ex-ground bomb > F21.... that's your 3 hits.

Also prior to the 10/4 patch, B3D4 broke armor. Considering that Cyrax's BnB double-bomb oki combo has 2 bombs already AND B3D4, I have a feeling that this BnB might still be ok. Gonna be labbing this.

That one will likely stay but what about others not using that. Unless there are multiple ways to set this up. I've only seen it off the grounded net starters

Yeah i fear Cyrax may have lost the Armor break. when patch drops im for sure trying B3D4 and F21 and every move he has with double bomb sets after NJP and EX bomb with all Moves in his list. i have a feeling B3D4 is to slow to stop a 2 Hit armor let alone the 3 characters that got 3 hits of armor.

but im also fearing F13 not conneting with net at full raneg cuz the nerf. 12 hit davantage down to 8. yeah that could be bad for Cyrax, from what i understand CSZ got Freeze to work because they made Freeze 5 frames faster and added to recovery. but i don't know guys. it seems like Cyrax may have got the short end on this one.

But like before i will stick with Cyrax and Tech it up in lab for months.

I know he got hit with the nerf bat a bit ago but is he not viable at all or something?

controversial opinion : i think cyrax's double bombs have been buffed in a way b1 being slower has tightened the window of my HTB's for me so i dont need to time it i just need to input as early as i can , on the subject of 2 hit armour , why cant we just do the double bomb then block and punish ?

We've always had the option of doing that, and sometimes we would when faced with goro, or characters with invincible wakeups. I didnt make the setup to be a bait, because I could do that with 1 bomb easily, it was to condition opponents to respect my setups because they knew they couldn't wake-up anymore and I had no fear going in for a setup. Now that most chars have two hits of armor, they have an easy way out. Yes we could just bait it, but the fact that we have hesitation to go in for a setup is HUGE for the opponent.

This is what I've been doing. I've been messing with a new corner 50/50 armor-negating setup though. Maybe it could be used midscreen, but I haven't labbed it yet.
