NetherRealm teases several incoming patch changes on Twitter

I'm.... not feeling this patch and it's NOT even released. Looking at it, there might not be a reason to play Mileena (for me anymore) and this Judgement Crush cancel for Shinnok does nothing for me like I thought it would.

Might just be my super cynicism but honestly, I'm NOT even looking forward to this at all. Hopefully, it changes on the 3rd but Nah, not feeling it.

Im not frames master (and the frames for this isnt out yet anyway etc) but the start up for the New move of Bo Rai looks MAD slow...

I hope this isnt the only "buff" this character is getting...
 
Fist bump cancel? But theres a-list... A bit reduntant if you ask me. Glad they did something about fistcuffs, nevertheless.
However i see that bo buff. I know flaco is rolling around somewhere lol'ing.

All I say to people is not panic just yet

It seems 50/50s are nerfed
-Kano's B1 is punishable
-Sonyas OH looks reactable
-Quan Chis OH is now a mid (maybe unless charged?)

They are giving moves that should have hurtbox to actually have a hurtbox now
-Alien B3 now has a hurtbox

Looking like a universal removal of launching armour attacks
-Reotiles Ex Claw has no armour
-Reptiles Ex flip no longer launches
-Tanya's Ex Low drill no longer launches(Is this true? Anybody got a source?)

Now the reason I think armours may be losing their launching properties is because of this new "Kounter" mechanic.

We got no idea what this is but by the name it sounds like a defensive mechanic.

My 2 realistic guessing in what it is, is related to a new armour system

1.Armour only has its launching properties on reversal//wake up only.
I'd be happy with this as it would stop launching armour as being a neutral /mix up tool.
2.armour only launches on counter hit.
So if Alien does Ex OH and hits you blocking low but you did not press a button it will just knock you down.. but if Alien does Ex OH and catches me pressing D1 it then and only then launches as it countered my attack.

I'd be happy with either of these 2
It could also be a new replacement for pushblock or a universal parry which I'll also be happy with, we'll see.

But my point is the game is getting an unexpected drastic change that's for sure.

So while your char might lose his/her most powerful tool there could be a reason why, like for Example they actually made Quan Summonor an actual legit zoner like he was intended to be and make Warlock an actual counter character like he was designed to be.

But I'm also enjoying seen people lose their minds and over react so just forgot what I said and keep entertaining me :p

Well the Tanya Ex low drill point, I don't actually got a source I've heard people say it, but now since you said that I'm questioning its legitimacy hmmmmm

And honestly I was using that as good data on removal of armour launchers, so if there is no source of low drill not launching then I re question if this armour launching thing

We'll see what has been changed there. I think that they want a similar offensive/balance/defensive system for all characters, like Sub Zero's. If Paulo (I know who's in this TYM forum, so I won't tag him out of respect) reads this, I hope he do something for Sub Zero having his Ice Klone whiffing issues, which I hate the most, and give hurtboxes to everybody, except of their weapons, it would stop them from using their own bodies to destroy the IK, just to be fair. The same goes for UBSZ's Barrier of Frost not freezing as it should the jumping and teleporting attacks.

I know a lot of other characters having their own issues that need to be fixed, so I would appreciate it if you NRS guys had to fix them, so nobody would have the wtf reaction all over again and again. ;)

Just to be fair meaning just to steamroll 99% of the cast. No way, if Paulo reads this he should play some matches vs GM and then nerf him into the ground.
