I would definitively keep the kill factor on the gas.
Prevents all those skynet tryhards going berserk with 1% trying to make a comeback.
Plus I love it when they die in the middle of beating me.

Man something universally in my opinion on paper he's a solid character but he's completely overshadowed

His extremely meter dependant

I always feel he's build around his forceball but most chars shut it down, so I'm thinking maybe have it eat projectiles

Would that be too much?

Since I don't know the pros and cons of the character, I will say that this character deserves easier and more practical brutalities.
Yes and every character for that matter. Brutalities are not An issue of Advantage on matchups. its a feature that needs to be fixed on every character. Like that brutality needs to be Achieveable by any Variation, and it should only require F21 1+3... and thats it, just end match with F21-1+3 maybe an EX on end., That would be reasonable.


And many characters like Kenshi need more brutalities.

Just occurred to me - I'd really appreciate if they made our xray cancel invisibility last longer than 2 seconds. It still won't be worth 3 bars but it'd be a step up.

Thatd be nice. Not like theyre that useful anyway. Only in specific circumstances.
Maybe just give it to noxious though, to gimme a reason to use him for different matchups.

Floating ball is underrated and good. Giving it stamina is just overkill

What about B1D4~DF3 having a different juggle height in the corner vs females? The slow force ball works fine, but for whatever reason, fast force ball off B1D4 in the corner launches them at a different height and makes a delayed njp near impossible.

If it's a female hitbox situation, why doesn't it effect the slow force ball as well?

Fast forceball off of b1d4 in the corner is pointless to use because slow forceball is much easier to get the delayed NJP with, no matter who the opponent is. And if they block and you miss the confirm, you're dead anyway.

When thy patch for thy game drops (for the 7th time), and thou all realize that NRS doesnt care about reptile..and our opinions and options to help add uniqueness to him and make him a great character....with such fantastic minds and brainstorming...(for the 8th time)

Then i will end it off with the words "gg guys."

Now..i will not hesitate to come in and retract everything i ever said if i am satisfied with what i see and even perhaps reach in my grandma's attic under the old piles of grandma's old grandma stuff and dust off the disc and insert it once more.

considering the fact that ant zoning is waaaaaaay better in this game, that mb fbs are useless, and that there are countless moves that low profil and go under fbs, they need to have faster startup. I don't care what you say but right now they are borderline useless if the opponent has a good understanding of the mu. Show me a situation where it is viable, and I will gladly show you a way to blow it up.

5 Frames faster startup... fuck it 6 frames faster

These are the changes I would like:

General:
Make b1d4 slow fb connect on hit mid screen: It will still be interruptable on block but at least if they don't react fast you'll be 0 on block I believe and if they try to jump over for punish you can mb it to stop and make it somewhat safe. The opponent will have to go for the read with a fast normal to punish to interrupt the slow fb.

Reduce 5 frames on startup for fast and slow fbs: Like I said, the game hast better anti zoning and too many moves that low profile and go under. It is very bad in its current state.

Make d2 at least 8 frames or give b1 aa properties like alien u3: Reptile is very meter dependent and his only aa option can't be a move that requires meter. If he has no meter you can freely jump on him. His air normals are ass and his d2 is too slow.

Nimble:
Reduce ballistic activation by 7 frames:
besides very specific setups the normal version is useless

Make mb ballistic off of certain strings on block -6: Right now most fast reversal pokes and specials will punish it 100% of the time. This at least now adds for a mind game where reptile can backdash to avoid the reversal.

Deceptive:
No changes

Noxious:
Make gas do .33% damage: There are countless cool ideas that could be done with this variation but I doubt they'll make big changes and Ill settle with this.

MB slow forceball is fine, IMO. MB fast has some situational uses, too. The moves that low profile forceball also have general issues in low profiling everything as is, and a lot of the time they're low pokes which get slid on the read into a full combo.

I think his forceballs operate just fine, overall.
