As some of you may have noticed it's been quite a while since our last proper show and that's not down to lack of trying. Post Evo and VSFighting we felt a bit burned out on the game and were in need of a much needed break which combined with more than our fair share of schedule hang ups caused the delay between shows to last this long.

We had originally planned to cover all the ususal ongoings like tournaments and such but since so much time has passed since then we thought it would be best to sit down and take a more relaxed approach to this one. We chat about MKX, Injustice 2 announcements and go through some fun topics that we have wanted to do for a while.

This will be the last show for the time being but we may very well be back to do some specials if the occasion calls for it. I'd really like to thank everyone who takes their time to listen to this show and post and these threads over the past 18 months and we hope you guys return when come back.

Holy crap I wasn't expecting a farewell episode. I'll give it a listen right now man, hopefully you all are back when Injustice 2 comes out.

The timing seems weird from the episode release but it is a feeling that we have had for a number of months. It just took us ages to actually do this episode and release it. Just speaking for myself even though another patch intrigues me, real life issues as well as FG burnout makes it doubtful I will compete anytime soon, let alone play the game.

Flash has been good up to where we're at now. Hope season 3 is also very good. Season 2 was for sure worse than season 1 but it was that bad. Pretty good imo.

Arrow season 1 was really cool, I liked that a lot. Everything else is the worst thing ever, I hate it every time I watch it but I'm determined to get through it. It started off as Oliver trying to keep his identity hidden from his family and friends but still finish his fathers list with his new friend Diggle - now it's just the green arrow and his miniature military that are basically all just surrounded in a plot bubble. These people (all of Olivers friends and family) are learning what took Oliver years of discipline and rigorous training in harsh conditions in the span of months... Uhh no. Also every secret agency has stupid goons who are apparently super tough mercenaries and the best in the business, yet they're getting their ass kicked by a 5'6" 20 year old ex drug addict. Get out now. Arrow is terrible. They make the league of assassins look like pussies. The show sucks. Season 1 was pretty good, though.

I couldn't stomach Supergirl, that show is worse than Arrow maybe. Or at least tied with it just because of how poorly written and acted it is. It's just so cheesy. I like that Martian Manhunter is in it as an idea but I stopped watching not long after his reveal so I'm not sure how the execution on the character was script and cgi-wise. Too cheesy for my liking.

This podcast was a fantastic listen, thanks to all the hosts for taking the time to sit down make it happen.

If everything had gone to plan this episode would have been posted about 6 weeks ago but as Gab said we had a lot of stuff delay the show.

I am very interested to see what the new patch brings but I'm very much enjoying having a little break from fighters at the moment. I really hope they address some of the big issues in this patch though.

You pretty much nailed where I am with Arrow as well. They seemed on a mission to completely contradict everything Season 1 set up and now it's bordering on pure shite. I think Flash is good but Zoom absolutely stole season 2 for me, I really wonder if they're going to be able to top him. If he's in Injustice 2 and looks and sounds like he does in the show he's going to top of the list of early mains.

Glad you enjoyed the show as well :D I'm going to miss doing these as they're always a blast. I just hope Injustice 2 brings the hype.

Zoom was a fantastic villain because for a lot of the season there was so much mystery to his identity and Barry was still new to being the Flash. Zoom could literally appear at any point and do what he wanted, it was great. Barry is still learning and getting faster, which is something I like about this show - the main hero doesn't just become the best he can at the end of one season. I really am interested to see where they take it in the third season. I'm intentionally avoiding all trailers, as I always do, so that I can be totally surprised when it finally meets my eyes lol.

Hopefully Injustice 2 really is the return of footsies and forces players to have a good neutral. That'd make for a fun game. I basically want Street Fighter with strings, I think lol. Idk. MK9 rebalanced for 2019 pls :)

Never seen an episode so couldn't say really but what I have seen the show just looks really half baked in a lot of areas. Effects are really poor, not jus the CG but the make up and costumes look pretty thrown together apart from Supergirl herself.

Seems as though the DC TV universe is just growing to fast for its own good. Apart from the Flash it's all going down hill super quick.

I agree. I tune into the flash. The others, not so much. Shame really. Arrow had a lot potential.
