hey bro i know what im about to say is comletely against the Norm, and many people have alot of hate for Johnny and D'Vorah RC pressure, but Stamina/Block Breaker Stops the pressure and its not always there turn, Johnny can only cancel 2 time for 3 normals in one rotation before its your turn, same with D'vorah

and the most OP thing D'Vorah does is not her RC pressure its ending her Combos in Puddle to stuff wakeup options or Limit them.

Anyways yeah JC which i hate that matchup trust me, he is not OP and can be gaped, he really can't do OH free you can armor it, and they used to do 1 into mixup or 11 into 3 or F24 and thats not free. its stopable. but is a guess and might as well be called a Vortex.

But what im getting at is a matchup you should hate more is Mystic Ermac or MOS than Johnny A-List, has just as much Pressure, twice as much Mixups, and fucking rediculous space control with Push. he is a living nightmare compared to D'Vorah and JC A-L.

If you have a problem with any of them just Use Mileena she has tools to deal with it all. im gonna start picking her up again. since my mains are Kenshi Balanced and Cyrax. imagine what my matchups feel like when i go against alien, Kano, Takeda, Ermac, Sonya and Kotal Kahn. its fuking Bullshit. cuz my characters have Dumb pethetic Neutral against Rock solid Neutral, and my Zoning is a joke to them and there Zoning/Gap Closers and ways in.

then i have matchups like Scorpion which is not to bad but still fucked, he has a counter Teleport for my Zoning in both characters i use. or characters like Reptile has Slide whcih goes under Teleflurry and both OH slash/EXbuzzsaw and bombs. its dumb as hell for me most of the time.

but i never once got on here and said X character needs Nerfs. except when Quan had that Infinite Loop HTB and BTW i also said it when my own character Cyrax had it.

i play on Xbox only right now. i still need to get PC but im waiting on Money next month. i have alot of shit i pay for, not only am i a Pharmaceutical Engineer, But i also have shit i do on the side, like Pay for Scouts of Plants in MArk Twain National forest, and i also Pay for A Custom Paint Buisness my Brother is doing with me, we Mod Xbox One Controllers, and i Paint with an Airbrush.

so no matter what i make a week even like last month 12k last month all was gone after all that shit so i have to wait a month.



But yeah ill set shit up with you. i have gotten along with you pretty well. maybe PM me and you can share Phone Number and we can talk, that is if you Talk English or Russian. i don't know if your computer translates auto or sumshit, i have a few friends that thiere PC's Translate while they type on TYM and Forums?

Bro, I have my own issues as GMSZ mainer. I loathe those who have completely advantages against my Sub Zero, like Ermac and Quan Chi. Whoever breaks Ice Klone is my enemy.

I don't hate A-L since he doesn't have the ability to break through my Ice Klone. The problem is D'Vorah with her wasps. Kenshi is, also, a problem due of his Astral Projections.

I can handle with ease Tanya, except of Pyromancer, and Smoke and CSZ, Kotal, Kano and anybody who has no ability to break through my Ice Klone.

And I happen to get away from my Ice Klone, when I see some chars, like Alien Tarkatan, Jason and Leatherface having a slight advantage to break through due of their unique special attacks.

It's a matter of time to get used to them.

it does take one frame to block when crouched! i asked Paulo
and Most Mids do beat Low Pokes, and its only not the case on Shitty Mids that are to Slow or are not working properly Like for example All of Cyraxs.

And yep there's such addon for the explorers that can translate this shit in any language. Unfortunately, I don't speak Russian.

HOW to learn matchups
how to fix that is simpler, even the best players have this problem. Play others that are better than you, find ones that are better, Lose to them, and find out why Am I losing! ask yourself that all the time, Don't make excuses, don't ever say , That move is Cheap, or that character beats mine, or i have a shitty character. you have to let go of that type of thinking in this game. and figure out what you did wrong to get into that situation, why did i let them get in to Mix me up?

Finding Players
When you find for example a player tha beats you that uses lets say Goro, there is your Goro matchup, slowly after findin what you do that wrong, you wil alter slightly what you do in those situations that you turn the pace into a lose and anylize what you could do instead.

Kill Bad habits
Ask them if they are cool, and get input, or Replicate what they do in Practice and run through your move list and find what counters it. and Record your matchs, you have a free DVR software on both XB1 and PS4 and for PC there is Shadow Play built in for Nvidia Graphics.
Use it, and fins what you did wrong. 99.99% of the time, its not the move they used is OP its you did something wrong.
When a player uses Cancel pressure on you, and you open up and get rocked thats not because the Johnny cage is a cheap character ist because you where not paitent enough, or you didn't see thje gap, or you Let him in at one poinjt in the match to do that to you.

Find it out.

You may even be doing a move then following up with another string and actually the first move you used is negative snd your usual opponents do not know how to handle it, you may be getting away with shit you shouldn't and when it doesn't work on a player that knows the match better, you may think its lag or there character is cheap, i have seen all these examples online all the time, or when i combo into a double bomb setup that armor stuffs with Cyrax, and players online armor wakeup becaues the single bombs get blown up by that then i combo them for it, they send me hate mail saying cyrax is broke, and i set back and think, if they just would have tech rolled they would have escaped it. but instead all those players blame it on Cyrax and not themselfs.

And then do that for every character in the game find players better than you for each one. slowly you will see that players that used to beat you, now you are beating them all the time. and you will have to find other players for those match-ups, be cool though and keep playing those players, you can still practice AA's/Counter Pokes /7 frame punishers, and other things on them even though you beat them. maybe ask them to use another character your not familiar with.

you may not get better than Sonic Fox but im sure after doing what i just said you will get better than all your friends.

they know about the MIDS and Hitbox Problems, its a cross of how much work they want to do an overhal or not. some of the things are easier to change the other chatacter. but they have oodlez of Top players coming to them telling them whats wrong. so don't worrie. and yes i give them google Docs all the time trying to get them to adjust the in game Data, when its wrong. and gave them an Algorithum that would fix or calculate the difference when Crouch Blocking vs Stand Block data. Who knows if they even looked at it. i send them on WBForums to Moderators tyler and Derek and Paulo andyone i can to pass it along.

i gave fair examples of what i though just nerfs would be like minor changes that would tone down characters but keep them Viable and still very good.

then i gave them, Universal game mechanic ideas, like Buff AA's and give each character unique AA's that even out trade NJP's and asked for NJP's to not be Positive on block same for NJK's. and JIP's should be toned down very punishable. im sick of scrubs using a Braindead OP Long Range JIP and getting away with it, because my Characters have no good AA's like Kenshi Balanced. he has some, but they don't work on Alien JIP2 and Kotal JIP1. and Kotal is dumb with it, talk about Plus all day. but other than that i can handle Alien and Kotalk. alien is moire dumb because of the range though.

yeah i got confused essentially its there, its just from a different sorce. in that senerio when the opponent blocks while crouching, its one frame to unblock and stand. so that person was right, its would be neutral but because of that the better hitbox might win, or the hits will trade but yeah no problem man.

i get on here to help where i can and to learn what i can.

when i started MK there was not the possibility to share this info, or even teach or find Fatalities. Combos where what you could do. there wa no outlets besides the Arcades, and generally everyone held on to the info like it was a special secret. the guys would hid there hands with bandanas and hide the inputs it was a different age.

its great that we can record moves and combos and tech and post on TYM and help others get better so we all have better competition.

Man i wish i could play with you because i could really use the practice. Unfortunately im on ps4. I play Kitana and Tanya but im only really comfortable with Kitana. I feel myself getting better but all the robots, Jason, Mileena, and Johnny Cage give me the most trouble.

With the Robots, Cyrax especially, i can show you what to do.

as for Smoke just learn him or record what they do to you, go in practice and replicate it, and find ways to punish or where a gap is at.

Cyrax should be the easiest for you to beat. he has openings everywhere.
All his HTBs have Huge Gaps where you can Backdash/Armor and on the Double bomb setups just Techroll into backdash or jump back/Armor. His Net is very punishable, his EX Teleport is punishable on block. his B1-2+4 is punishable, When you see him do a bomb for zoning full screen, do not worrie run in and wait for the Net/EXbuzzsaw, the net is full combo punishable on block for most and the others will get to make Cyrax guess between OH and Low. the EX Buzzsaw is 0 on block, so just etch in when he does that. im sure he won't waits that much meter though.
Remember close up Cyrax won't be able to get Overhead on you, just block low, his B1 Main overhead was nerfed and is slow 18 frame startup, most highs you should be able to do them twice before his comes out, so rest assured close up he is doing Low or just press something and knock him out of it and use hit advantage to follow up with a mixup.

Johnny cage is about paitence and Mileena is about Punishing dumb shit she does, Every Mileena does something they should not. Rolling out of nowhere, TEle Kick out of nowhere, when they do randome F1's that don't reach. dont forget to punish her. and try to keep away from her B12 range, and punish accordingly and if you have a fast D4 that is her Kriptonite when she mashes B12 into B12 just D4 in between. and if you have Telport like Scorpion or Ermac that ruines her B12 as well. Jason is different, he likes to Tick throw, and you need to practice Blocking the B3 and Neutral jumping the Throw. and then have to worrie about the Oh mixup on that normal. then his D1 kinda Jails like it does not but it feels like it. i just armor it, cuz it pisses me off online.
