One last question.

Can this be looped back into itself after it connects? Can you end the next hit into another f12 into MB Bolt?
No, if you combo off a MB bolt, you cannot spend the bar for another MB bolt. It'll just throw a regular bolt.

Been doing a similar set-up with MB bolt for a very long time and know it won't work as a loop

But the guy that found it just told me it does, unless he misunderstood my question.

Can you test and let me know?

@PND_Ketchup , the second EX, like the Bolt, doesn't work in the single combo, and that applies to all characters. If it works, it's OUTSIDE of the combo. :/

You can combine different EX special attacks in a single combo, but NOT the second same one. I tried doing the 2nd EX electric grab, but to my surprise, it did only the normal electric grab.

Everything has an usage limit there. :/

It will work because the 1st ball comes from another combo if I'm not wrong

Let me resume
Advantages :
- safe 50/50 into high dmg
- can bait armors
- hard to armor
- breaks slow armors
- have blockstring with s1, b1 and f1 (+10f if no wake up)

Disadvantages :
- lose vs fast armors
- can be armored on wake up and reversal if 50/50

What about delay wake up ?

Basically it doesn't because you can't extend a single combo with the same ex move twice, For the second ex bolt to come out your opponent have to fall into the ground (marks the end of the combo) and if that happens it wont be a setup anymore( unless you end with f4). The startup animation of the ex bolt have to come out while your opponent is still juggled in the air on his way down for it to be a setup.

Let's not start up playing Raiden a week before the patch 'cause of his corner game, He is still a lacking character that needs proper attention in the upcoming changes.

I've known about this for awhile. A friend of mine does crazy setups with this move. There are a lot more utilities to this move that I haven't seen posted on this site yet. Suprised it took this long for this to show up.

My only issue with this tech is you have to rely on the opponent to perform certain parameters in order for it to work and if they wake-up, the set-up is broken and you lost meter and health.

The tech is inticing due to damage amount, but there's better setups that don't worry about if the opponent wakes up, delay wake-up, and break armor for slightly less damage.

None the less good stuff, many people don't know about stopping a bolt on block or hit creating two bolts.

@dennycascade
After labbing for like 5 minutes I found that they can armor reversal after blocking the first bolt - before you hit the 50/50s. Because as you said you are at around +10 and Raiden's 50/50s are slower then 10 frames. Some reversal trigger the bolt behind them but forward advancing ones definitely work.
I also found this trying to find a way to negate the wake ups (again I don't play Raiden so don't mind my execution)

Again the reversal after the blocked bolt is an option but the wake up before it isn't, what do you think?

Since you have around 5 frames for running, you supposedly hit the 2nd it (b2 b3) in 8 frames (just frames). So quick armors beat that setup, as stated before
