Numbers please.

Also what Cage? You still live in the PC ages? You poor thing.
huh? Cage's ex nut punch is still under 9f right?!
any wakeup that is 9f or faster will blow up this setup, I believe also smoke can ex phase away.

JC's nut punch is 11f, Cassie's 14. I thought you were talking about Cassie's flip when you said Cage's "wakeup tier"

I think that Sub Zero's Frost Bomb (EX) is fast enough. Guys, mind if you can tell me which frames do I need to look into? The Start Up ones?

About Smoke, yes, he can get away with the telesmoke. This guy can teleport with either behind Raiden or from above with EX.

Your hole is mine!
Why do you have to do the F12B2 low to the ground, wouldnt you get more advantage the higher up they are, hence making it safer?

I was thinking about Thunder God set ups for a little while ( he isn't my main I have just become interested in him) and I have a couple already.

What happens if do a forward throw in your set up?! Does is trigger the bolt behind them?) is it triggered if they tech the throw?
I wish lol. Sadly it doesnt work.
Edit: Actually, it might work if you set it closer. I'll have to mess with that

Yes but it makes it super hard to get the meaty bolt to come out and the other bolt usually ends up too far behind them. Ending it low to the ground is basically for consistency, any higher and the setup becomes really hard to do.

This is super duper sick. If the opponent has no meter they're free to this.

I'm not sure if I missed it though, what happens if the opponent delays wakeup? I'm guessing you'll still get some from of pressure because they're not able to press buttons or wakeup attack? Or can they stand up and hit you while you're recovering from Lightning Ball?

Delayed wakeup is open season. Meaty bolt whiffs, but they're just sitting there on the ground without the option to wake up. I also forgot to show this in the video but after you set it up you can also go for a meaty f4 which pushes them into the Thunder Klone and makes it insanely plus. Something like +20, it's crazy.

After more testing it turns out most armored wakeups (remember, has to be armored) actually do punish if you commit to EX bolt, but the thing is the wakeup window comes so insanely fast that it's basically a quick stand. They have to be 100% ready to armor as soon as they see that f12b2 so there's no way they can react to you just canceling into nothing and blocking. If anything this setup might be most useful for baiting wakeups (we all know how godlike Raiden's punish game is).

So there's no way at all that they can delay wakeup and hit you out of the bolt recovery?

Today I bring you this new Thunder God tech, and IMO this makes his corner game somewhat insane. If you're having trouble getting the setup to work, make sure you land the f12b2 pretty low and time the bolt stop correctly. It was hard at first but now I can do it 100% consistently.

I'm not too familiar with the Raiden community but I'll tag a few Raiden mains I know of.

PS: @bdogg0100 and I have an even crazier Bo Rai Cho video right around the corner so look out for that!
Suuuuuuuuper cool

One last question.

Can this be looped back into itself after it connects? Can you end the next hit into another f12 into MB Bolt?

Not even a very fast non-armored wakeup can get out of it? Like Sub-zero's raw slide?
