More Displacer Raiden, please! ;P
I mean WITHOUT meter at the corner. The juggle limit for this combo is only 4 times. I can rekord it and show you, if you like. :)
WHOA! If possible, that would be great. Most I do in the corner is f12b2, then st 1, then f12b2, f12b2 ex shock, b1, st 4, regular shock (I think, but I forget...need to check my buttons again cos I only relied on muscle memory at the time). When I opt for the fb restand instead, for some reason, the cpu automatically hits me, on HIT! I thought I had frame advantage after that...I must be doing something wrong, or maybe it depends on which combo ends in the restand...

That's because you're only +6 on hit. Doesn't guarantee anything except f1 and even that is frame perfect timing. Raiden has very little but very good dirt, but people need to remember Raiden is a defensive styled character first and offense second.

Do the F12B2 4 times in the row without anything in the middle. :)

That's because you're only +6 on hit. Doesn't guarantee anything except f1 and even that is frame perfect timing. Raiden has very little but very good dirt, but people need to remember Raiden is a defensive styled character first and offense second.
I always have thought of him being the counterattack master with all these lightning abilities.

Aqueous' description isn't far off, Raiden is excellent at punishing because of F1 and the high damage he can get off of 214. His offense however is on the gimmicky side with his cancels barely being + and teleport being relatively risky in the neutral. Also the corner is mix time.

There are, also, Raiden's lightning traps as MoS. He keeps one in check, and waits the right time to create the 2nd to counterattack his moves, preventing him getting near Raiden.

Well... That what it does in theory. In practice the orbs are of course pretty bad.

I think everyone plays differently, and some call his offense gimmicks I guess. It's more about being safe, making the reads, and pu ishing correctly. The mind games create opportunity.

Hey You Guys
I've seen you b14 after the 1st f12b2 in sets and it's definitely very difficult to execute. You've got the best combo execution from f12b2 out of all the Displacer Raiden players.

Don't be pissed that it doesn't work vs those two lol. Just take the 32% and wall carry.

Hitboxes are so wacky in this game, many a combo become inconsistent because of it. Goro I can sort of understand because he's so large, but Ermac is quite weird.

YA I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH HIM FLOATING IN THE AIR. JUST SO STUPID THOUGH.
This is what I thought. I noticed that he doesn't ever touches the ground. His floating ability is the reason the low attacks don't work. Saw a Scorpion mainer trying the EX leg-lock on him, but to no avail, because Ermac simply has to walk in.
 
the MOS orbs cancel out the opponents run just like caltrops. is this known to the general public?
Yup bro, since last patch if I remember well. But the cancels are scrappy and recovery a little too long. So people don't play this variation because we still don't know how we can play it in a viable way
