5 Rules for attending your first Major Tournament

Sorry, Dinky, but the rule with the footwear is a bit off. Anybody wears whatever he/she likes. I agree with the other rules, however, I usually want to get a coffee, because it helps me get on high concentration. Another rule is to go to shower to wash your hands with a shampoo (helps for the wet hands) before the match.

And the last rule with the shower I agree. If I smell someone that stinks, I tend to be like a terrorist covering my nose with my T-Shirt. lol

The first rule is to be expected, because you might have a nerve problem, because of your first time being in this kind of tourney. The more tournies you enter, the more you get used to it.

Mains: Not Sure Right Now ...
Good video dude. One thing that threw me off quite a bit going to my first event was the monitor. Simple as this... Get one lol. Before my first event I played on a 52 inch tv. Going from that to playing on a small monitor screwed me up badly. Get used to completing combos offline while on the same monitors used at the events as the input lag will also be different. I have a BenQ RL2460HT and it has been great.

God Confirm

We're all from Earthrealm. If not, cool pic brah.
ive travelled for an event for a different video game in australia once before, the B.O. was unbearable and me and my mates spent most the time at the nearby bar. tabletop gaming generally even worse

its ok to get a little sweaty after a long day, but damn if u havent bathed in weeks dont go to public events like that its not cool

on the flipside of the coin, i havent yet attended an Australia event for MK yet, but my friend has and told me that absolutely everybody was smellin fresh. So props to the Australian scene for good hygiene i guess?

We'll burn you all—that is your fate!
Dear lord pls shower/clean. Do fucking sometthing to not smell like death. Also if you are sick go to the local CVS, Walgreens, anything and get a medical mask so you don't get others sick. This is one of the reasons i don't shake peoples hands at events

It is better this way
I don't understand why hygiene is so hard for some people. I'm not trying to be a dick, but really how backwards do you have to get to spend a lot of time and money on a video game and not take care of your hygiene?

Never heard this one. I have THE sweatiest hands and find that after a couple matches my thumb sticks to the d-pad like glue. It's incredibly annoying.

My hand are getting sweaty due of the plastic back of the controller. I tend to wash them with shampoo. It helps a lot. Try this before the match, and you'll see. You'll need to wash them every day from now on. You'll notice that the shampoo is like a sponge to the nerves having more water in them resulting the loss of sweat.

I don't know about the rest of the peeps, but I know it by experience. By losing the sweat helps you hold firmly the controller and in proper manners, helping you pressing the corresponding buttons you want.
