Things From IGAU That You Hope WON'T Make It In Injustice 2

These are the things I'd like not to return:
- invinciblity on wakeup
- unblockable interactables
- slow walk acceleration (and speeds)
- large, zoomed out stages
- normals doing (next to) no chip
- poor anti-airs (granted this was fixed in a subsequent patch)

I don't see how Injustice 2 won't have invincible wakeups with special moves only having MB specials not EX specials. MB doesn't grant you armor on the first frame so if you didn't have invincible wakeups you will get stuffed all day long, i.e., there are no wakeups at all.

Also we tried the no invincible wakeups in MKX and everyone is crying how strong the offense is in this game. If MKX had invincible wakeups everything would slow down considerably. I think it would be much better if invincible wakeups returned in MKX, but they should only be for unsafe, non-launching wakeups.

If backdashes, mb b/f3, delayed wakeup, grabs, mb specials at startup with armour (think superman ice breath) and fast wakeups are a thing you can definitely do without invincibility.

People currently wakeup with Cassie flip kick all the time.

Well if I remember correctly all armor started on the 3rd frame in Injustice, including MB F3/B3, so they will be stuffed. But yeah I see how mixing in wakeup backdashes and delayed wakeups might be enough to get rid of invincible wakeups.

I just hope 80% of the strings in the game don't cover enough ground to catch backdash wakeups anyway like in MKX.

If the string is gonna catch a backdash, it probably won't cover armour, delayed wakeup into armour; etc.

There should be enough variability in it all.

I'm sure this has already been asked and answered somewhere but I can't find it-

Are added invincibility frames for all non-projectile wakeups in the current build of IGAU2? I can't tell by watching
Some moves did seem to have Inj1 style wakeup invincibility, but considering the game is still so early in development and both builds were super early I doubt that's been a priority considering only press have had access to the game right now. Wouldn't worry about it until closer to launch.

Cyborgs negative on block after every cancel except for s3 that was slow as hell with no range and only +2

Cyborgs shitty ass trait

S3 and F2 were both 12 frames in I1. I do agree that if he gets in, he needs a lot of help in the mid screen game so can be less of a one-trick pony and more of a contender.

Unless you're Kinetic Balding of course...

Why do people have problems with invincibility frames? Imagine having to go up against characters like DD, flash, batgirl, deathstroke, hell even lantern, lobo etc. without wakeups, or needing to spend a bar on unsafe wakeups

It makes setplay a lot less daunting, especially in a game with less armored moves and a third mixup not present in MK which is crossups vs non-crossups.

I do like wakeup throws and dashes though; these should not have any invincibility frames

The fully invincible wakeups should not be safe, but there should still be invincible wakups imo. Let injustice stay as injustice
