The OTG would not be guaranteed after the regular df3 as it is now. But yeah I see what you mean, I'll think about what the ex version would do if it was swapped. But doesn't the regular version being a launcher mean you get a full combo, thus always giving more damage than the EX-version that doesn't launch (unless the EX-version does like 25%)?
Also I could just use regular DF3, end my combo in DB3 for a hard knockdown and use the bar I saved on EX-DD4. I get that you want regular DF3 to launch, but this EX-version would have very little use.
Wanna share these patch notes with the rest of us?i'm just saying for the record that i'm 100% sure bo rai cho is gonna be at least s- after the patch
bunch of buffs to his frame data and dash with no nerfs on offense. the character's gameplan is pretty nasty as soon as he has the frame data to back it up at least 1 variation will be top tierWanna share these patch notes with the rest of us?
I don't play Bo rai cho and i never struggle against any, so I say Make EX monkey flip a combo starter since it's already punishableBeen talking to the Bo community about this and figured I'd see what other people thought cause why not right?
So if there is another patch this is what I would like to see.
Universal:
Fix all whiffing and hitbox issues
Make f1 a true mid
Make f2 a mid
An actual backdash
Dragon Breath:
No changes
Drunken Master:
Increased drink duration from 10 seconds to 15 seconds
Bartitsu:
Make f1 a mid (only if f2 remains a high, otherwise leave as is)
Swap the ex version and regular version of df3 so that the regular version launches and the ex version gives more damage plus the hard knockdown.
Add a meter burn version of bf4 in this variation with armour to match his over variations.
And that's it, so what do you think?
I'd be really happy if they did that. Even if we could just do the stance without a drink during combos then it would be a huge boost. If he had all his moves at level zero drink and then they just did improved ones for every level of drink that would be cool too, but I dunno if a simple damage boost is a good choice though for what you gain out of the drink besides the slight changes to the moves like db1 and df2, Bo's damage is fine, especially in the corner.Drunken Master needs a complete rework. You shouldn't have to put yourself on a time limit to not be variationless.
His moves when drink is active do not warrant the huge risk of drinking either. When drink is up, he becomes ok.
What Drunken Master should be is that he has the moves by default. Drinking should buff those moves to do more damage or something to warrant taking the risk. At the very least he needs meditate stance without needing to drink. The drink in general just makes him god awful for no reason other than it was an interesting idea.
It was just an example. Using drink should do something to the moves that make the risk of being stunned and having predictable movement worth it.I'd be really happy if they did that. Even if we could just do the stance without a drink during combos then it would be a huge boost. But that's the main draw of drinking. What would you do to the other moves to make me want to drink when I already got my 50/50s and sexy stance shenanigans? At the very least he needs meditate stance without needing to drink.
