So with Raiden thunder god, in the corner if I hit them with b2 then I do b14>lrc,214>lightning bolt, after the bolt would I be at plus frames? As in would I be able to do a 50/50 against them with either b3 or b2? And is this what is called a reset?

DAMN! I wanted to watch that twitch stream vid again from critical reaction but it's suddenly gone :'( oh well...I'll just have to hope that an occasional Raiden match (preferably Displacer) at the tournie level will be uploaded again before the game DIES...

I found out, two cancel in one combo, you can do if you start Vicinity Blast anti-air.
For example:
(anti-air) vbrc-b14-exdf2-b14-lrc-214-bf3. - you can do.
(corner) b34-vbrc-b14-exdf2-b14-lrc-214-bf3. - not to do

Thanks for the upload. Can't wait to watch! Raiden play in tournaments is so rare these days. I watched some of the Summerjam stream yesterday, didn't see any Raidens.

And I was wondering who's dis dude who was good with Displacer Raiden. Dude, you just replaced the LRC with the teleport. i think it makes things a bit easier with the BnB kombos there.

My pleasure :D If I weren't a new player and had a better connection (time to dump Verizon/Frontier and switch to TWC!), I'd upload my Displacer matches too lol. I only have recorded matches against the cpu, but as usual it turns out the cpu's usually too easy once you get accustomed: no matter how much it 'cheats' by reading your inputs and tech-throwing 99.99% of the time...

This is my first post on TYM, been following the page for a good year now and finally made an account.
Loved Raiden ever since the first Mortal Kombat, so it's extremely hype to watch @TheRealOnlyGoonie killing it! Nice job bro, don't think you dropped one F12B2 x3 that whole video lol.
Also frequently watch & learn off @Nivek @Lil Majin (any other Raiden mains who post vids or ranked matches I'll watch)

Everyone probably already knows, however I never see it mentioned, is that f12b2 x 3 in corner is basically 100% guaranteed if you d1 after first f12b2.
I'd post a vid but I have no idea how to.

Keen to finally get amongst it all, beware I am a major scrub and very average level of player haha

You can just cut and paste a URL of someone else's vid if you want. I personally upload my own vids to my yt channel with a digicam since I'm not connected to do it from my PS4.

Good to know! Thanks to Lil' Majin, I knew you could do a st1 in that combo where you mentioned the d1. Dunno if the damage is different (esp. with some scaling) but with st1 you can get guaranteed 42% and it's MUCH easier than skipping the d1/st1, although if you skip either of those attacks, you can finish with a fireball restand combo and get 41% I believe instead of 37 or 38%, yet when I tried it on the cpu, it didn't seem to work cos the cpu would punish or at least attack me immediately. That's the dif between the cpu and human reflexes I guess (or I did something wrong; like hesitate too long after the restand).

So the Raiden community as a whole thinks that shocker/electrocute should be a mid? I really hope NRS doesn't overlook this. Should've brought it to their attention earlier.

In corner, if you do only F12B2, you're guaranteed to do 4 times the F12B2. Needs a good timing there.

Been a lot of discussion from what I've seen for awhile in threads, but yeah, it would make for a great reversal since basically anything and everything low profiles it.
