Yeah

If you paid Tekken Master he wouldn't select War God > D'vorah versus Foxy.

It's not a shot or anything. These match ups are horrible. Anyone smart would avoid them.

Yeah I agree. I saw he was putting kotal maybe at 5 over TAKEDA?? I was scratching my head at that man. I'm sorry but a solid ass character doesn't belong in the top 5. In the ranks with Demo Sonya and all them. Smh

If you have a tournament full of Takeda's, Kung Jin's, Cage's, and 1 or 2 Demos/Shinnoks, Kotal might be 5th.

There are probably 9-11 characters in the game that don't have match ups, like the ones that I mentioned.

Pig has said that most electronic releases happen on tuesday, which is 100% correct, it's just how that shit works. And I believe, don't quote me on this, that the PC beta ends today which feels like a prime time to release the patch.

Cyrax can make them same
Tanya has some safe
Kotal can make them safe
Liu kang has safe mixups, regaurdless if you can't juggle from all of them. his b2 is an OH

I think you forgot Kitana as well. remember her variation mournful has both Oh's and Low and they are safe.

Liu Kang's is not safe b2 is -11

Kitana's overhead is reactable unless you want to count X-ray which I think is incredibly disingenuous. Having both an overhead and a low isn't the same as having 50/50s. Every character has overheads and lows since b4 is a low and jump ins are overheads. Kitana's glaive don't count since there's no mixup situation.

Tanya's overhead isn't fast enough to be a 50/50.

Kotal's 50/50 mixups are either fuzzyable or unsafe.

Cyrax can make them safe, but he's essentially the same character as smoke. I should have listed "triborg".

Elaborate more on predator's safe 50/50s?

actually didnt test this one, but Predator i remember god help me, cuz it might be out dated, but isnt his Laser safe, and if not that then his EX trap?

to me a safe oh or low is what im talking about. but yeah, i dont care if they casn be done quick, you can condition your opponent, if not johnny would never win.

and imo 30/30/30's are just as bad as 50/50s imo, and there are plenty other tactics in fighers like number of hits as a way to mix your opponent. but ill leave that alone. i think my point was made.

its the meta over half the cast has it. its not just the top 3. i was not talking about you, just some people claiming 3 characters had safe 50/50's and Acted like it was broken or a new thing. its obnoxious. at this point those people need to realize its part of the game and how it works, when you don't adapt you just lose.

Johnny wins because of ridiculous pressure coupled with great footsies, great reversals and great pokes. If anything, he's an argument against what you're claiming since his meta isn't about safe 50/50 mixups.

i said befor him doing either an overhead or a low, makes them guess its essentially the same thing, it doesn't have to be a quick OH then LOW or whatev. im surley not talking about a move like errons F132. or Cassies F+D+1. just the ability to either do an overhead or a low safe.

cuz thats ewhat others where taslking about, whining about alien who has a safe tailfliup, that doesnt launch and complaine that its a safe OH. and im like damn, if your gonna ask for a nerf at least ask for the right thing. like how about Aliens JIP2 that shit is broke as fuck.
