Comic Alliance puts Injustice 2 on the "Worst Superman Costume" list

Comic Alliance have a rather cool youtube chan I have been following for about 4 years. They just released a video called "Worst Superman Costumes" and one of the entries was "Armour"... the idea being that it is kinda silly to have Superman wear armour when one of his Superpowers is that he dosn't need to wear armour (As in invulnerability is one of his powers)... one of the images used to demonstrate "lame armour" is the new Injustice 2 screen.

Who could force Superman to wear armor in the first place? I'd imagine he's been in a sunless or red sun radiation chamber. He's sorta weak and when taken out they cuff him, which doesn't help shit cause my boi breaks free, for free.

So? Who's strong enough to constitute Supes wearing armor? Darkseid.

I'll grudgingly buy the idea of an armour to prevent magic... but the rest is a big ... nope! Even the most hardcore opponents may only get a trickle of blood and he heals nearly instantly anyway. One of his base powers is that he is invulnerable. As the guy said... he has the superpower of not needed to wear armour! lol

What about kryptonite? Isn't led supposed to protect SM from it? (I know very little about comics especially DC comics)

Doomsday "killed" him, Darkseid has bodied him, Zod has hurt him, wonder woman has beaten him. Superman isn't "completely indestructible unless kryptonite, magic, or red sun" as people seem to think.

This injustice version of Superman isn't as OP as a lot of Supermans are. Batman with the kryptonian pill almost killed him, but then again he also does some ridiculous shit like body MMH in seconds, Green Lantern(even though he could beat Lantern easily, but that was free AF), and some other stuff.

His power level is really inconsistent.

He could use the gear as a radiation suit if Batman's team has kryptonite.

But the gear is more likely just for swag and you can make Superman look however you want.

Its pretty dumb for Superman to not wear armor. Wonder Woman with one kick drew blood from Superman. Darksieds beams turn him into Superdust. WoWos weapons (magic) cut him like butter. Doomsdays physical attacks hurt him. Aquamans lightning hurts him, and his magical trident.

THOR is more durable than Superman and he wears armor. WoWo wears armor. Superman is an idiot and should be thrown into a black hole.

Lucha Bane actually looked amazing, all his costumes were great.

Yeah but i don't think you could make armor that's more durable than superman. That's kinda his deal.

He needs to talk to Diana or Arthur or Zitanna to get some either indestructible armor or magical armor.

Imagine if he could also get a magical weapon, he'd be unstoppable.
