General/Other - Dualist Dualist Liu Kang Kommunity Project: Proposed Dualist Buffs

With the new patch koming, do you think Dualist will get justice treatement? I really want this variation to become that viable so you can go entire tournament with it and feel comfortable in any matchup.

Most of all I want charged buff to have an EX version that goes right into level 3 and you can combo with it like with EX shaolin flame in FF. I mean, Kano and Kotal Kahn can combo into their buffs, why not allow it for Dualist with a meter? Right now he can combo only with specific red orb setup, some of which are not practical (the ones that allow to reach level 3 and keep combo especially).

Having charged buff to be kept even after dd1 would be neat. Imagine the damage with level 3 and EX solar flame in the corner? Yikes.

Healing - everyone knows it sucks. Everyone knows it should be buffed. Haven't been touched still :(

The DB1 special that stops red orbs should be cancelable after combos and normals, of course only after you threw red orb or orbs in the first place.

Red orbs hitting interactables in the corners of some stages must be fixed already.

What else... Solar flares. I guess they are ok for zoning even right now, but I think that low version needs a faster recovery while air version a faster startup.

What are you thoughts by today? What Dualist needs to make viable variation to go through entire tournament?
I think Dualist shouldn t get buffed only get fixes the only buff I would accept is a buff to the healing

Dualist's buffs that I would like to see are these:

- All Solar Flare projectiles drain one bar of energy from the opponent on hit. (energy = stamina for running)
- All Solar Flare projectile types drain half of a bar of energy from the opponent on block.
- Instant air Soul Spheres have recovery reduced.
- EX B,F+1+BLK (Dark Sphere) now absorbs and negates all projectiles that it comes in contact with.
- EX B,F+1+BLK (Dark Sphere) no longer counts as a projectile and cannot be negated or absorbed by any other projectile based attack.
- All Soul Spheres now have a slightly increased hitbox on the explosion.
- All Soul Spheres now absorb 1 projectile that they collide with only when Yang (D,B+3) buff is active.
- Better healing.
- All Soul Spheres now start-up closer to Liu Kang.
