Throws can now be teched while holding block and with any button. Tech time has been cut by half.
Dude..... that means throws will not beat blocks after all defeating the purpose of a throw. This would encourage endless button mashing. The optional select would be real and much more rewarding than it should.

That throw tech system would be much more of a mess than it already is.

That throw tech system would be much more of a mess than it already is.
If a throw tech is performed more than twice in the window, it is canceled and the throw will finish. That will stop mashing, and I don't think you understand how fast half the tech window is.

my changes i'd make for the game? lets see?

Standing normals having priority over air attacks (air attacks would stay the same as they are now, no gaps to jump ins and what not, with having ground normals having more priority, you should be expected to hold they're block string if you fail to aa their jump in)

Characters would never be designed with both bad/no mids and slow pokes, it would be either one or the other. Theyd either have a good mid with slow pokes, or slow mids with fast pokes. That being said, characters could still have both good mid string(s) and good pokes. Mainly....I'd avoid having our current Tremor.

safe 50/50's don't bother me so much as ones that are massively plus, especially to the point that they lead to a true block string when followed up by a fast string. 50/50's shouldnt be that massively plus if blocked. Rather it could be Slightly plus, neutral or minus to full on unsafe. It would be something that would have to be determined by the character and how they function as a whole.

Throw techs would no longer be 50/50's, you wanna tech a throw? press the throw button....

low profiling mids gone.

Males and females would have the same hitboxes

running would still work the same way it does now. Slowing down running would cause problems to comboability in this game, since theres a lot of combo's that involve running. Just look at some of cassies bnb's.

Tools that function like sonya's grenades currently do would not exist.

Hard to blockables would be heavily regulated, allowed to exist only for certain characters who meet certain requirements.

i'd want MKX to still be MKX, i'd just tone down some overly scrub friendly aspects (jumping, 50/50's into free pressure) as well as remove some of the design choices that just flat out make no sense (throws being a 50/50? why?)

Throw tech`s like in most games.

EDIT: I would also give characters` various amount of health.

What would you like? Let me give you an example

-All armored launchers are unsafe on block
-Armor breaking strings (Cage 12, Liu B12, etc) can no longer be canceled into specials on block
-Pushblock now takes one bar of stamina and one bar of meter

Pokes
-D1's are typically extremely plus (+7/+8), but extremely negative on block(-7/-8) and are 6-8 frames
-D3's are typically somewhat plus(+3/+4), but only somewhat negative on block (-5/-6) and are typically 5-7 frames
-D4's are typically extremely plus(+9), but relatively safe on block (-2/-1) but are typically 11-13 frames

I could create more, but maybe later.
Even those of us in here, whom have a major - or any manner of knowledge - in game design only have a vague idea of the behind-the-scene workings of the game so this is all talk and little substance in my opinion.
I'm all for letting nrs do their job, maybe they'll do it right eventually.

Universal back-dashes. - My number 1 hate for this game. Find a happy medium between Kano and Bo Rai Cho.

All jailing pressure ie A-List, DF, DQ, HT should be 1 frame links. Now it gets tricky because of the cancel advantage on certain strings are different. But jailing pressure should not be easy execution.

Pokes can be special canceled but only into 1 special per character.

All command grabs have the same whiff recovery.

Make more characters like Liu, Johnny, Kitana (strictly because of the 50/50 aspect)

get rid of DxU inputs if a character has a normal that is U1, U2, U3, U4.

Pokes should be more - on block. I mean a 6 frame d1 that is -2....... really.

All Anti Air grabs actually work they way they are intended.

Low profiling mids or in some cases OH.

All zones should not have any version of a safe 50-50 quan hqt full auto or any ya know cybernetic uhhh pretty lady ya know

Overhead/Low starters 18f fast max.
Parries work against all physical special moves but not against jump attacks.
there you just made 90% of the cast shitty, cuz almost everyone has safe 50/50's or some way to make them safe.

(Literally hate pokes that are plus frames seems very unfair like kang & takaeda)

2. Put low throws in the game kinda random but not a bad idea

3. Those unbeatable jump-in's literally have to go (like mileenas jip 1 some characters can't anti air it especially when she trying to cross you up)

4. actual anti airs I mean low pokes & uppercuts are fine but it's seriously annoying when you catch your opponents trying to jump over your head and it whiffs and gets you completely punished.

5. No invisibility anything only armor

That is all I want :)
