that's true but in that state of the game ruthless is not top 5. these character are better without a doubt: acidic alien, tarkatan alien, demo sonya, cutthroat kano, swarm queen dvorah, shirai ryu takeda, ronin takeda, piercing mileena, a-list johnny cage. not saying ruthless is bad but how in the world do you see them being better than any of these lol.
the ex low toss hasn't changed shit against his ability to counter zone better, the tosses have absorbed projectiles since launch but it's still a weakness. mileena,hqt or ff lui for example can zone them out for days still. it helps against characters with moderate zoning tools though.
I don't see how he could be better than Alien, Sonya, Kano, or Mileena at all. Or even Takeda and D'Vorah. I think he is about as good as Ermac so 6 or 7 is definitely appropriate.

I agree except I'd put Kano as better than Mileena but that's just me I guess. I agree that those characters are for sure the top 8 though. The 9 and 10 spots can be fought over between Jason, Jax, Jacqui, Shinnok, Kung Jin, Liu Kang, Kotal Kahn or even Ferra/Torr and Tremor.

Why are you so angry? Lol. That downplay though. The push drains meter, gives him health, it's armored, it's safe, it has push back. It's 3/4 screen. On trade you get a combo and currently there's the bug where you keep getting health back depending on the trade timing. It's also a mid you can't jump over and it comes out in 9 frames and has a lot of hit advantage. What doesn't this move do? Lol I don't think he's top 5 but it needs to be toned down a little. I'm sure it will too
they don't if they don't have 1 png already setup before or getting a punish from a s4 but I get your point, I don't think they need the damage at all. pre patch 42% for a bar midscreen was good enough
Of course. Half of the rest of the cast can, why should the character who is 90% muscle mass be able to?
