I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I'm guessing center mass is thought as being better, but what are the axis for? Is it better to be far left or far right, or down, or is it good to be left against down, but up is better for right?

Those lists are usually something like: Top = Top tier, Bottom = Bottom Tier. Left = has faults, Right = no faults. Then the placement is just where a character falls on that scale. You can make the axis labels anything you want though. Someone made one for KoF 13 about easy characters.

hey guise i found this ps1 at the local dump but wasnt lucky enough to snag a controller. was planning on picking this game up but i dont think i'll be able to find one does anyone know if i can use my ps4 controller so i'll be able to play this?

Y Axis represents tier position, X-Axis I believe represents ease of use or something like that.

FYI, you CAN hook PS2 controller in PS1. Since my PS1 controller is broken, I use PS2 controller there. :)

KOD has gaps in everything, nothing links in his specials on block so every online spammer just mashes iori and kyo dp through st.B/cr.B/cr.A - ankylo hammer non stop.

His otgs are useless since every single one of them is avoided by quick recovery, and you can't do jack shit about it since his speed is useless even after the buff, so you can't run up and st.C like you would the rest of the cast.

His damage is sub par compared to everyone. He gets with 5 bars what Ramon gets with 2. His scaling is insane, you're better off just doing lvl 2 supers raw or linked from ankylo hammer.

That is if you don't get rolled or dp-ed if you don't confirm it on hit.

His command normal is not special cancelable, you can only max from it. Useless.

His armor on cmd grab C, st C is random, you can never be consistent with it, you can just spam it and hope for the best.

His armor only works best on his cr.C which has exactly 0 range, and you get whiffed punished instantly.


Meanwhile Iori has superman's 2 frame super from injustice with instant input and can punish -7 from half the screen for 50%.

Yea...KOD...you can use him for fun but don't expect to win against kof veterans. Only thing that works is popping max mode raw and just EX command grab on everything until they foam at the mouth.

I don t think KOD is that bad or that his damage is that bad he has pretty good damage and seems ok at the first spot
