A couple of caveats: I'm not a tournament level player, just an online kasual, so this is just what I think and nothing more. (I voted with ya'lls just incase Boon takes this particular poll seriously). So don't get all uppity, I'm just talking about the shit that effects people at my level and it might contrast with ya'll that are at the top.

Mileena's whole design feels like "You hold block and try to punish her, she chooses how, when, and where she wants to pressure you. Also she can zone you at will and lol telekick if you try to move forward." A character that you can not pressure is really lame.

Jason does fucking (soap bar in my mouth) damage way too easily in Slasher. It's not that he's super great it just bothers me on principal that a 5year old can deal 35-40% meterless.

Either Kenshi's overhead teleport in Possessed is really stupid or I just don't know what to do. Sometimes I can uppercut it, sometimes I cant. If I block it, it feels like he gets to follow up with anything, or just backdash and keep zoning. You guys say he's actually a shit character, but damned if I can take advantage of whatever his supposed drawback is.

Jacqui's Machine gun could stand a gentle nerf. I like the character, but even I think that move is too good. I'd go for something like a damage buff at the cost of more recovery. I also think it's pretty lame that it breaks armor. I mean that's a meterless projectile breaking armor. O and give a bitch some reach please.

Ermac and Inferno Scorpion do really stupid damage off of easy to connect specials.

That's what it looks like down here guys.
Not saying I disagree with anything but things that point out to me that I agree with are your points about Possessed Kenshi, Jason, Ermac, and Scorpion. Also, Jaqcui breaking armor with machine gun is ok.

Previous to takeda, sonya, kano etc etc you would of been saying the same thing these characters will not be a problem. You will not know that untill you see how NRS buffs them, reptile could end up being S you never know. Every top tier is annoying in there own respect you just dont know who could end up where, I'm sure you never thought low tier badness takeda, kano etc would become super problematic. So the saying the next top tiers will not be as problematic is silly. Kanos air ball was changed to an overhead from a mid. These low tiers very well could receive over heads or lows. So next patch around you might be dealing with a 50/50 all day beast mode Kenshi. You don't know, you can't say the next top tiers will be any less trouble then these.

Except those characters got buffs over the course of the game and our understanding of the game has matured more than what it was 6 months ago. If they buff the 9-15 range variations/characters then, yes, there's a good chance we just get a new Alien/Demo/etc. But what happens if they nerf the overtly top, buff the overtly weak, and leave the rest largely alone. There's a lot less chance we get stifling characters/variations than if they try and balance everyone in one way or another. A large, LARGE portion of the cast is fine and, with a tweak here or there, a lot of the lower end can move from Okay to good. There are few characters that overwhelm you ridiculously with their toolset and straight up just negate options than those that many call foul on. The Low-High range feels mostly fine that could require mild adjustment, just watch any tournament match that isn't the top problems and see what the game could be, but the Top-Bottom need to be touched.

I had issues with demo Sonya pre-patch and Takeda received buffs out the wazoo. Kano was also made stupid through the patch.

I said if they nerf these characters, assuming the rest stay the same or relatively unchanged, the new top tiers won't be as bad because their tools won't be as oppressive.
 
Alien, Sonya, Mileena, Takeda and D'Vorah were my picks.

What exactly needs to be changed about Ermac that is "OP"? EX Push in Mystic? Fix the trade bug that continues to drain your meter/health or whatever it is for sure. Maybe give it less range? I'unno. There are clearly far worse offenders than lil' 'ol Ermac.
i agree dvorah is ridiculous id rather fight the best a list and df liu back to back than a decent dvorah

It is my opinion that a character should not be able to dominate every character in the game who lacks a certain tool. Example if a character requires that the opponent have a teleport to stand a chance, than either that character needs to be nerfed or everybody gets a teleport.

As NRS does you can count on characters getting large buffs. I guarantee you people will complain about the new top tiers as much as these.

They nerfed Cassie because of Sonic.

Cassie had some dumb stuff that needed to be touched but they went too far with lowering the advantage and push back of B212D1+3. Regardless, no character is nerfed because of a single player, if Fox was winning with pre-patch Jason NRS wouldn't go "oops, time to nerf".
 
I think nerf alien needs is to have a lot more revovery on all tail moves besides b3 and his f134 changed to high mid mid and that flip -13 like bo rai cho

My point exactly kano was also made stupid you said. You ever expect that? Guarentee you it's going to happen to another character you wont expect. You also said Takeda gained buffs out the wazoo, how can you be sure that wont happen again to a character okay now but might receive buffs out the wazoo?
These characters you deem okay now could very well be your next huge problem. Or in your words be made stupid :p

Well i mean the run buttons exists. Zoning isn't nearly as good in this game because of that fact and when there is a somewhat decent zoner in this game, that's honestly a positive in my eyes because...well zoning isn't great in this game. Some get shat on by it (Bo, Lackey F/T) but the reason why is because they're run/walk speeds are ass.

Not really, they do a lot of patches that only touch a handful of characters or change a thing or two with people. Their first big patch was a month after the game and a lot of characters/variations literally got a single change or were mostly bug fixes. Really, just read it.

Thats 1 of there tons of patches they did lmao.
Did you read the patch notes where some characters got 10+ buffs or 10+ nerfs???

Footwurk played fistcuffs against me one day in casuals and bodied me in the set. It was like his third day playing the character. These people can expose things that weren't intended or are stronger than thought and get adjustments but NRS isn't going "look at Sonicfox win with Cassie, she needs nerfs". They see it in action, test it, think if it needs to be touched, and touch it or don't.
