I wanted to play the PC version with PS3 controller, but I don't see anybody in. Anybody home? Hello?

As bad of a setup I've got right now I'm still running great online. I got a potato+wireless. Combos aren't hard to execute at all. It feels like they streamlined all the bloating code that was slowing the whole game down. Had about 4 different people today, played about 30 games. Had one spike that said disconnected from player but then it went back into the game. And that message lasted for about 5 seconds. So if it did that, to me that means this netcode is boss. After that no more spikes. If i ran this on my desktop I'd say all matches would have been 9.5/10.

One balance patch I wish they'd do is mid combo if you throw, it shouldn't be tech-able with 1-3 plus frames. I use it sometimes as a re-stand and people can break it. For a bar it's not unreasonable since we have things like nut punch etc.

I think I have to stop playing the online beta before people completly new to the game start asking to nerf Cryo, I'm not giving those kids a "fair" first impression :p

I think it's gonna be faster than with the consoles. The beta with the consoles was incomplete with characters and stages added gradually. But in our case everything looks ready.

They said they'll do a survey next week though to ask about the beta performance so it won't be immediate either.

It amazes me that people have a short memory and flock like flies on shit, as soon as this announcement is made. Does it make everything better now, since NRS announced this? Did you forget how you felt when you got screwed over ( I bet you was SALTY as fuck and whatever other emotions at the time) when the consoles only received Xl when it was announced and the PC port got shafted.

I got the invitation via email to test the PC beta, read it, laughed and then deleted the mail, as I did with the game on Steam many months ago. Personally, I have moved on to other things now, yet still watch MKX on streams and browse here from time but that's it.

The online is great but it pisses me of that I can't invite people from my friend list. Like I have been playing against completely new people for about 3 hrs

When you think a out it, that makes sense though. The purpose of this Beta is to test the rollback netcode. With random matchmaking, you'll be getting a variety of opponents from a variety of regions. If you could do invites, you'd be restricting yourself to people you know; potentially all in the same region.

The matchmaking approach allows for better testing.

EX Ovi should launch
If MKXL is not a FREE update patch for the abortion edition then I wont be picking it up. NRS need to employ someone who can speak to the community and not just pretend that everythings fine if we ignore the guys we shat on.

It's most probably gonna be handled like consoles, the update is free but you gotta buy KP2 characters. None if the KP2 chars interest me anyway so I'm not gonna buy it.

I doubt they'll pull off a dick move and force us to pay for the XL upgrade. No one is gonna pay another $60 to play the game lol.

I do remember how I felt and it was not anything like what you're painting. If you want to laugh at people trying to fix a less than an ideal situation and supporting a game in a way that is near a historic milestone because everyone but NRS said nrs abandon us when they actually didn't, well go right ahead and laugh at the top of your principled mountain of salt. I plan on playing some games, rewarding the good behaviors in this, and not wasting my emotions on bitterness over something I never was promised.
