Maybe it hasn't been created for double monitors. How about you file this idea to NRS so that they can fix it?

Yeah that was added in with the patch for console MKXL.

The issue is Steam only. Since Win 10 release date Steam games haven't been properly loaded or ran. This is what I meant. I'm in Win7, so I might not run into such problems.

Does it matter that I started the download from SteamDB? Does that cause problems or something? Just want to make sure.

I think you should pay some attention to another guy who was replying to you as well.

For the record, I have i5-2500 (3.30 / 3.60), 16Gb and GTX970 and I would not run the game at max settings. Now, beta looks like it runs more smoothly than previous version did, but I didn't test it with the most problematic moves/effects.

@hkriderz Good games EDIT: Sorry I had to leave to take out my dog but hopefully I run into you again. Also I'm so happy with this beta, all my matches so far have felt really smooth and no random frame drops at all. Hopefully more people decide to play the game again

put the two away from each other (fullscreen distance) and start spamming stuff !!

I know my specs aren't the greatest, but they are very comparable to the PS4/XBO specs. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to play at the lowest settings and keep a consistent frame rate.

Very close to what I have but I have win 7. I know there wete some issues with win10 before the beta here.

For me I always had to lower the resolution to 1600xwhatever. Running at 1080p just didn't get me a solid 60. Stepping back on the shadows a bit helped too. Of course that may be all out the window with the beta. Have to install it after work and see how it all looks.

Anyway, when I do the benchmark now, it runs fine. 59-60fps is what I get. But when I start to navigate the menus it starts dropping frames. When I get to the character select major drops/freezes happen. When I get in game it varies between 30 - 60fps.

It just doesn't make since. How can the benchmark be telling me that the game will run 100% fine, but then when I start getting into the game it starts acting up? The match connections are fine too (not amazing, but good).

Plus, apparently they fixed the requirements for the game and it doesn't demand as much anymore. People with GTX 750Ti's can play the game fine. I just don't get why this is happening to me? Maybe it is a Windows 10 issue.

I'm playing the game at 1600x900 (it's my native resolution), too. At this point, I think it's a Windows 10 issue. Either that, or something else very specific.

Like I told Immortal, when I run the benchmark it has no issues and it says I have the best performance for online play. The gameplay looks smooth. But then everything outside of the benchmark runs like crap. The menus, the character select, and the matches too. It's just weird...

Well I have that card and what you describe was often how it ran for me historically. Things tend to smooth out but there are mid game loads if you are on a new stage or enter character select that dont exist or aren't as noticeable on console. Having the game on ssd probably helps. If you stay put things can smooth out if there isn't any loading it wants to do. Ideally it wouldn't happen at all, but there are no guarantees on PC. Especially when other applications can start taxing resources. Bottom line is it's probably not just you, it's just bugging you more than some of us.

@21122 @Braindead @Immortal thanks for the help, after updating drivers and anything I could try, I went to the steam folders to launch as admin (should've done it earlier) and it told me that there was a missing .dll in the computer (msvcr110.dll) apparently the windows 8.1 update removes it and some programs need it (including apparently MKX) it so I resintalled the update with that file and now the game works. Microsoft f**** updates...

I'm downloading now... so not confirmed but I have hopes that the new Kombat Pack may be free for pc uses as a part of the big apologist!

So does this include the same balance changes as on console? I'd like to just relearn some Quan and pick him up but I think I remember him being nerfed a bunch on consoles. Haven't really followed the game since they discontinued PC support.
