Pre patch Tanya hands down but if we are talking about after she got her teleport bs Nerfed then idk. I think alien would win 6-4 probably

I think even with all the tools she had , should would knell to Alien duo to the nature of his normals and Acidic special moves.

Didn't Tanya have two hits of armor on her EX rekkas at one point? If so she won't be too worried about Alien tail flipping out of pressure. Especially at the rate of meter she used to build. Might also alleviate some of the acid blood setups from Acidic Alien. And preparing Tanya had the better Rekkas. And don't forget the Shrowd throw glitch. She got like 36% off the throw I think. There's a lot to say Tanya had the tools to body Alien 6-4

Actually the throw glitch only occured in ONE patch around August after NRS destroyed Pyro and DN. They literally send two variations of Tanya to bottom tier to cure Kenshi's loneliness

Ive only never played or took interest in learning 4 characters. And I wouldnt know if Kenshin is that bad. However even without knowing the MU I've never struggled against the character.

Kenshi, Kano, Katana, and Shinnock... Bo Rai Cho doesn't exist to me so he doesn't count.

I don't think people remember Day 1 Alien lol. Didn't he have like +100000 Acid Blood Restand? Safe JAILING PLUS 50/50's that can start from half screen ? Wouldnt U3 just knock her out of the air for teleports anyway? Plus once acidic lands like 2 combos its over especially since he was absurdly plus on his restand. Imo

Day 1 Acidic Alien Would Beat Day 1 Kobu Tanya

Idk about the rest of the variations though. Tarkatan would be tricky but if someone wants to tackle that go for it

dude, at least you can actually TOUCH Alien, and he has to open you up first before getting his plus frame and most of his block strings are minus
Pre patch Tanya can stay in the air the whole match without getting touched, she has infinite meter.
And her character design was like "you guys are tired of 50/50s? Here's AIR 50/50 huehuehue"
Don't even get me starting about "it's always Kobu's turn". She has an infinite amount of free plus frame, and even if she's minus it's still her turn

Yeah but this is about alien vs tanya. He would be easily able to contest her in acidic. His jump 2, u3, pounce as an anti air ,crawl for under her tonfa toss, B3 in the nuetral, and that damage. I understand everyone is scarred from CEO Tanya , but nobody remembers how dumb acidic was because he wasn't available to be used and when he was nobody touched acidic it was tarkatan. Acidic could very well be the dumbest character ever when it's all said and done. I don't remember tanya being able to restand you into guaranteed 50/50s that would kill you if you guess wrong once , full screen anti air with DOT, and unreactable 50/50s that could literally take chunks of damage for free. Ex: B3 xx Acid Blood , F4 Acid Blood , F4 Acid Blood ect. Rinse and repeat. U get hit by two of those + a grab and ggs. It was also suuuper plus sooo yea... I do understand where everyone is coming from though tanya was fucking cancer

Tanya was stupidly broke on Day 1. Safe gapless rekkas, stupid meter building, she could get out of any type of pressure that had a gap. Alien has characters that can compete with him, prepatch Tanya just did whatever she wanted.

Lol I know exactly what she was like. I never played her so I have no reason to downplay.. I know she was crazy I just said it. But I'm not gonna argue with you man idrc you have your opinion I have mines.

EDIT: P.S. I am not saying Alien is better nor am I saying he would beat tanya outright. I simply said IN MY OPINION KOBU WOULD LOSE TO ACIDIC . That's only 1 MU man. Damn.
