I don't know how I feel about having movement options that cost meter. That just seems so odd to me. Hopefully it's vulnerable to throws or something. I don't see how they could put in a completely invincible safe side switching movement option in a fighting game.
I counted the hits and the combo counter only said 7. But if you include the initial slide there is 8 ticks of damage. The yellow current damage part of the health bar counts all 8 ticks but now the combo counter.
I never understood what is even the point of putting in moves that take forever that are supposed to be an actual usable part of their kit and not giving the character any way to really use it.
They weren't in Injustice 1. I hope there actually isn't any affect with those other ratings.I am def. hyped for injustice 2. Having never played Injustice before.. do the stats listed in the below image actually impact gameplay in anyway? If so, How?

I understand, but there is no window to tech / escape the second hit (the exploison) if there was, she would never be able to land it, even if the explosion was unblockable.
You have to keep in mind, NRS (attempts to) walks the line between casual and hardcore. They try to make a game that is interesting for button mashers and tournament level players. It is morally commendable, but technically almost impossible. So you have to take the meat with the gristle whichever side of the fence you're on. We get a technical game with a bunch of moves with no competitive use, they get a casual game with a bunch of mechanics they never both to understand.
