I would use blood totem more if it could provide 50% more health regeneration or more meter gain or just more health regeneration since the totem's name is blood
 
I dont know if this was known or not but im gonna put it here so kotal players are aware of it and hopefully NRS fixes it

Most of us know about 114 whiffing issues

Some of us know about B1 whiffing issue (females characters duck blocking from max range makes kotal whiff his b1 one of his most important tools)

And now ive found this, its not gonna make kotal players lose instantly but sometimes it can turn the tides against him, for example ive lost a round exactly with this issue

Never experienced this issue with females, and I've been playing Kotal for the the better part of a year now.

I think it may be because the second and third hit of b122 are juggles. B1 stands them up straight for a higher bouncing juggle.

It's not a huge deal. The biggest problem hurt-box wise that Kotal suffers from is F/T 114 air grab whiffs on hit as well as b122 sun god choke on hit.

If you didnt experience this then you havent played that much kotal beside war god :)

Yes if the first hit doesnt connect, for example if b1 is whiffed or blocked while ducking and second and third hit connects this happens and sometimes even if third hit only connects or if first and second hit is blocked while ducking this happens again

I know its not a big deal but sometimes it can be troublesome, anyway i just wanted to leave it here so they can see it and probably fix it with his other whiff issues (i agree) that are much more important

I also just found this happens to b122 into sun god throw

I play all three equally.

I doubt whether it'll be fixed though, NRS has had ample opportunity to fix his hurt box issues but haven't so I wouldn't get too hopeful.

My Adjustments for Kotal:

Universal:

fixing 114 whiff issues
fixing B1 whiff issue
fixing b122 into burning sunstone or sun/moon god choke on hit whiff issues

5-10 less recovery frames for blood offering
5 less recovery frames for god ray/sunlight
3-5 less startup frames for burning sunstone

Sun God:

10-15 less recovery frames for moon god choke

Blood god get's a new totem that locks opponent's meter so he can't use it while totem is up :DOGE

I think Kotal is fine and probably one of the most balanced characters in the game, the only thing that needs fixing is the Ferra/Torr whiffing issues.

Maybe something for the blood totem but tbh that's not vital IMO, but would be nice.

Maybe reduce active frames of blood totem and make every move drain meter. All basic buttons don't drain meter

If you're missing Moon Choke, you're doing it wrong. Moon Choke is the command grab equivalent of Mystic's Psychic Push.

If you want to buff SG, buff the frames on his parry so we see it used more. Landed parries are pure hype.

I dont want buff for SG, i just consider it horrible to have that much recovery even for sun god choke
