Only if it's after ONE B2 or Frost Bomb with Ice Klone Shatter (IKS). You need to make your opponent higher than your head to make the double Ds or double Ss. He meant to use either of those 2x D1, or 2x 1, or 2x D3 to press your opponent in air, so that the B12 connect.

The double B2 will not allow the 2nd D1/S1/D3 to work.

The D1 is the same with S1. I have tested their damage. It's just a mixing with them. And they have the same amount of DMG. ;)

I see. It's because he's on stand. The double 1 sounds like a hard link there.

Only S1, S1. But that's meant for the females.
D1,D1/D1,D3/D3,D1/D3,D3
Are all easier. Adds some damage and makes the height and gravity easier for the B12xxKlone people still drop to this day.

I see. Will train with those you found. But I have a hunch that I might find new combos due of the females.

If the PC version gets the GOTY there, I'll, of course, buy this on PC. I'm above of all a PC gamer. I knew something was off with the PC version and NRS, and I bought the PS4 version.

Do you find the timing of a D1, B12 Clone after a Shatter with a mid or low starter really tight, especially with lag? I hit it in practice consistently but keep dropping it online, either height issues or not quick enough with the b12. Maybe I just need to keep doing it in the moment. It's weird I can do his bnb b2,b2,d1,b12 consistently online but drop the shatter d1,b12s.

At the moment, I'm using just a 1, 11 Clone after a low starter as it's easier to execute online but damage with a 12 Starter is 37% to 38%. It's consistent though. I'm experimenting with 1, F42 Clone for more damage as well or just F42 Clone after a Shatter but need to keep working on it.

Curious to hear what works for my fellow GM Mains.

Are they falling too quickly or are they too high? Try D3, D3 to spike the gravity. You can just mash the whole combo D3, D3, B12xxKlone. The D3 brings them lower and the extra D3 makes timing easier for me. Also helps against females.

Hey guys, I dunno if you know this, but when I played with @AcMilan91 as mirrored Sub Zero in PC I found an interesting tech. @AcMilan91 tried to EX Ice Klone at the start, but I broke his klone with D4 and got 1st hit and did the normal Ice Klone. Maybe I was essentially fast with this good timing. This happened 2 times in a row.

Could be. I'll get this videoed to show this tech to everybody here. This one is a very interesting one. It could help against mirror Sub Zero. Or it could be a weak point against other fighters having the same idea.

This happened, because I got used with doing D4+B2 right at the start of every round. It was purely muscle memory that I got it in no time to prevent anybody to get the first hit.

It takes longer to do quarter turn special move than to do a poke , so even tho ex clone is faster your d4 still hit first. Not a frame data thing jus the fact that hitting 3 buttons in a row take longer than hitting two at the same time

Well, this is how every good GM SZ mainer do, even Madzin, right at the start of every round. I always have the Input Shortcuts ON to make this D4+B2 able to combine the input of D4 with the Ice Klone input.

However, what you said is very interesting. The EX Ice Klone ought to freeze the D4 spot on, which might be a glitch to my eyes, because Ex Ice Klone has armor.

D4 can break ALL armors, if gets timed down. There are some special exceptions that it can't break the armors, like in Sub Zero's Frost Bomb. It helps to get rid of the armor, while they get to hit the Ice Klone spot on to get frozen in the corner. See Tom's matches for this.

You mean when he backs out, while creating his Win pose Ice Klone, and then breaks it? Or do you mean the brutality?

He did a FT5 with me and did it a couple of times. I couldn't even take a round but I managed to at least take half of the life bar and hit my bnbs 'most' rounds. Some matches I was bodied though, especially If I was cornered in the 2nd round lol

You can also skip the Kori blade animation after you do the EX Clone and normal Slide. That way you'll see it in the final Screen rather than before the Kori blade. Also, be careful not to be too close otherwise you'll freeze your opponent with the slide.

Now that makes sense of what @youthinkyoubadyouaintbad .

BTW, I found an interesting glitch in Sub Zero when labbed a new combo to improve Sub Zero's playstyle. I'll need to lab it in the 2 player match to check this out if it's indeed a glitch.

You guys might know this combo:

B2, B2, D1, B12~Ice Klone, NJP, FJP, F12.

But I added this new combo, which is viable.

B2, B2, D1, D1, B12~Ice Klone, NJP, FJP, F12.

The double D1 is viable.

And I don't know if you guys know this following combo:

Ice Klone start: B12~Ice Shatter, B12~Burst. For a fewer hits combo it packs 42%!

If this is news for you, then try this also new corner combo:

FJ2, B2, B12~Ice Klone, NJP, FJP, FJP, 1, 1, 123~Slide. Saw Madzin doing this, so I wanted to improve this a bit to level myself there. I saw Madzin do this middle-to-corner combo:

B12~Iceball, FJP, 242xx1, 1, 123~Slide.

The xx indicates the run input.
