idk qwark her forward dash into throw is pretty nash-like
Yeah, up close you're 100% right, I was looking at it from a general perspective. I've tested out meaties from throws and she either does a medium ( f throw ) range normal or long range ( b throw ) or a dash up throw.

The more I lab her the better she looks.

or pretty much anything into h and m fuhajin. She's getting meterless 180s, 350 dmg jump ins.


Looks like she's better than most at squeezing damage from things most other characters have to spend resources for and still has decent damage without crush counters or jump ins.

A good example is midscreen buffering into the fuhajin combo, 180-200 dmg off of counterpoking at almost any distance.

She's the best character to me. Why are you so pessimistic about the new dlc characters? None of them are going to come in and knock characters out of the Top 5 spots because those characters are clearly broken and Capcom are moving away from that (hopefully)

What do you guys think of Laura? I'm using her, digging the blend of footsies, grappling, and some zoning. I also like that her gameplan is easy and very straight-forward.

I'm also playing Guile on the side, mostly because I'm just using everything I learned from SF2 Guile and still succeeding (lol). I just hope Akuma gets released as DLC soon.

yeah my cross cut dp into super on your dash reset was random. It was a joke Myles, don't be such a serious guy.
This the second time I heard of a cross cut. I used to think autocorrect DP was always a thing. You know when autocorrect DP became a thing?

Or the Mika doesn't delay drop kick and you eat a CC. Actually, both her CC's are plus on block.
She's negative if she doesn't go forward.

theyre different. Auto correct is just when you dp late and it comes out other side. Cross cut is when you anticipate a cross up and do half circle back, db, punch. It can be used earlier and just in general protects you from shenanigans.

So after her forward throw she can hold up forward and if they quick rise she can press lk to hit in front and land behind(can combo after with jabxspecial) or press MK for a cross up into a fierce punish. Pretty nasty. If they don't quick rise crouching fierce hits meaty.

Edit. Stand fierce is better hits on first frame to stop Nash trigger or mika/Laura shenanigans. Seems to require a fraction of a second delay on landing. Seems consistent enough though, got it 10 times in a row.

Only the store kick nullifies. In V-Trigger, she gets instant access to her store specials, and the LK release kick is 2 hits.

Jumping after forward throw is pretty gimmicky since it's easy to do an autocorrect DP, even if you're going to press something like a jab when waking up after being thrown.
